Milan already have a KPB as his replacement. They will probably use the money made from selling Adriano to bring in a midfielder hopefully Soriano or Vazquez from Palermo. But seeing how the past transfer windows have gone its gonna be quiet until the final day.

I forgot about KPB. For some reason, I thought that he was older than he is, he's only 28. I haven't seen him play in a while.....will be interesting to see what he can contribute

Messi is not the greatest. Stop it y'all
Until he can lead Argentina to a WC title, he cannot be considered one of the greatest. Dude gets exposed for the fraud he is when he plays for the national team.

Dude played in 06,10,14 world cup. If he is that good, he would have done something within three WCs. The greatest prove themselves at their first WC. Case in point, Ronaldinho. Dude lead Brazil in the world cup singlehandedly when they beat England after being down a goal. If he wasn't scoring, he was assisting and making plays for others to score. That's how you define greatness

Barcelona was doing terrible in the early 2000s. They signed Rijkaard then ronaldinho and their fortunes turned around. Ish wasn't by coincidence. When you're that good, you don't just will your self on command, you will your teammates to want to win.

Ronaldinho > Messi

Society doesn't want to give melenated people the credit they deserve mean.gif

I don't agree with all of that but I feel you on the main point which is why I voted no :lol. R9,Dinho and Zidane at their peak are still the GOAT's that I've had the pleasure to watch. Messi's just about at that level but I don't know if I'd put him past them in my eyes. I'm talking strictly about pure skill/ability,couldn't compare Dinho's relatively short prime to Messi's consistency. Career wise he has just about everyone beat in terms of accomplishments/#'s.

Dinho is still the most exciting player ever to watch imo

A simple "nah" vote on the poll could have sufficed...

love coupe's response lol

Idc about the GOAT discussions because its to each their own. but I will say this... 'Dinho playing was so exciting to watch but most importantly for me personally is that 100% of the time he genuinely looked happy being on the field. the camera didn't lie and maybe the Joga Bonito got to me but his smile and having fun the entire time makes him a GOAT. never mind the stats he put up

I started watching in the 06 world cup so I missed peak Fenomeno and Zizou. Also didn't know the game well enough to fully appreciate Ronaldinho, but from what I've seen Messi > Ronaldinho. And Ronaldinho will always be a favorite of mine.

I've also heard enough old *** commentators who did get a chance watch Maradona and the aforementioned players at their peaks say that Messi is the best they've ever seen to be inclined to believe that he is at least third best.

The most difficult and most important part of the game is scoring. and he's a goal scoring and creating machine.

People these days just have short attention spans. Dudes just follow what's trending and hop on to the next trend

5 goals in three world cups (four scored in 2014)

Straight fraud being promoted by FIFA and Adidas to rake in money. Let's not forget that BS award he got for best player at the 2014 WC

No thats not it at all. Recognizing that Messi is one of the best to ever do it does not mean we have a short attention span.

The best to ever do it, you look at their career and you remember them tearing it up for both club and country. With Messi, the only glimpses are while playing with Barca. Complete blank when you try to think of what he has done on the world stage with argentina

Zizou 98, 06 WC 02 CL final
Dinho 02 WC 05-06 CL campaign
Pele
Maradonna
Eusebio
Ronaldo Nazario

The list goes on. Dudes put in work for club and country winning games singlehandedly

I said one of the best to ever do it not the best. I don't think thats something people can even debate at this point that he is at least one of the best to do it.

Chelsea’s Baba Rahman: I’ve had enough of sitting in the stands

The Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has admitted he is growing frustrated by his lack of playing time since moving to England.

The Ghana left-back, who joined in August from Augsburg for an initial £14m, has made just four Premier League appearances so far after failing to edge ahead of the first-choice full backs César Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic.

Speaking to the German magazine Sport Bild, the 21-year-old admitted he has found the transition difficult but with Chelsea having already ruled out sending him on loan for the second half of the season, Rahman is determined to prove himself at Stamford Bridge.

“Of course it’s frustrating for any footballer to sit in the stands and I don’t want to experience that too much more,” he said.

“As a young player, of course, you have to get used to such a big club and a world-class league. For me the first half of the season was pretty OK but in the second half I really want to play more. Chelsea are one of the best clubs in the world.”

Rahman, who caught Chelsea’s eye after his performances in Augsburg’s unlikely fifth place finish in the Bundesliga last season, is understood to have settled in well to life in London off the pitch despite the club’s tumultuous season so far. He was signed by José Mourinho, only for the Portuguese to use him sparingly in the opening two months of the season as the reigning Premier League champions struggled.

But Rahman insisted he has nothing but respect for his former manager, who has been replaced by Guus Hiddink.

“He always gave me tips on how to improve both defensively and going forward,” he said. “I liked him right from the first moment. Every player would benefit from working with him.”

TBH Zlatan is the GOAT. Srsly imo.

But Dinho was the first soccer player I've ever known. He was a representation of what the game was to me when I was younger because I didn't follow it. So I thought ALL footballers were that nice

But they ain't laugh.gif

Dinho is in a class of his own imo.

I like Messi though. One of the best I've seen in my much more limited time following the sport.

Messi > Cristiano > Ronaldinho

R10 could of been higher, but he enjoyed the party lifestyle too much and it cost him in the end. Funny story is that when I was in Barcelona 18 months ago they still had a VIP Booth reserved for him in a club I was in called Sutton. He is legendary in that club laugh.gif
post #19978 of 50776
It's funny that it seems if Messi wins a WC that will some how validate him as the GOAT to some. As if last world cup they should have made it as far as they did. Hurt Aguero hurt di maria. dude carried them and almost got past the power house that is Germany

But anyway. Liverpool showing up. Good sight to see. Firmino's second goal was a thing of beauty. Liverpool need a better keeper point blank. You can't let Ramsey beat you near post and you have to close the near post on that corner. Can't let Giroud score there

City:
Again Sterling gets fouled in the box and its not called. The calls that this dude doesn't get are starting to be laughable. It's like every ref has it out for him. Aguero looked better out there but cut his angle way too tight on multiple occasions.
