Armada, it's because the colors red and blue are extremely British, we as a country took that from them. Red and blue are dominant colors in the Anglo-sphere. I love red and blue tho, just HATE it when every team has it. Think about it - United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, City (although the the light blue is refreshing) - literally every single team plus the other smaller clubs...

Rol how dare you not like Roma's kits, the burgundy and gold (now orange) is so fire.

but yea Portugal is cool like that too, the big three are red, blue, and green. As a kid - being a fan of either team makes you hate the opposing colors. Red or green weren't tolerated at home.

Your right it just gets so boring to look at every team in either red, white and blue or red and white/black or blue/white or red/blue 

It's why I love third kits so much because they can be whatever the **** they want I like them just because they are different than the norm

If you look at that Mahrez assist for Vardy's goal, the defender on Mahrez should have closed him down (especially since he had support literally 1.5m behind him), and forced him onto his weaker foot, or down the touch line. Defender opted to hang back probably thinking "nothing will come of this".
