So long as your winning, Mourinho's arrogance is tolerable. As soon as you start to nose-dive, business ethics would tell you to shut your mouth and accept responsibility. Mou did neither, and bad football and bad press mean bad business.

Probably the reason arsenal's concoction of mediocre football and good-standing press have allowed Wenger to stay till now.

My random thoughts on this:

- Like Desi said, I had a love/hate relationship with Mou. Guy was funny and obnoxious at the same time  but he's archaic ways had to be dealt with. Roman gave him a good amount of time but he can't afford to let Mou overpower the club overall. He helped take it to new heights but if we want to continue rising to elite status then we can't let his ego drag us downward. You want to know why Mourinho was so honest in his last interview? He knew he was out.

- We need a forward thinking, attack minded manager. We have lots of attacking talent with the younger guys, its time to let them have at it. I'm actually wondering if we'll recall some guys off of loans.

- Hazard might reconsider his feelings for the organization with Mourinho gone but I haven't liked what I've seen from him lately. Hopefully this gets him motivated.

*This is karma for giving Di Matteo the boot after gritting it out with the squad to a CL title. Hopefully it turns things around now

I know Wenger gotta be sitting in the Arsenal training camp right now like...

Now that Mou is gone, some of these guys have to go or never see the pitch again. Mainly Ivanovic and Fabregas. Jury is still out on Costa and Hazard. Terry needs to retire, he tries but he's just too old to be solidifying a back four.

Baba Rahman better play religiously. Azpi needs to be the RB. Kenedy, RLC, Traore need time. We need a playmaking #10. Oscar needs to either become a super sub or go. Call back some youth guys. Go buy some Champions League eligible players if need be.

Need to aim for a decent looking mid-table spot, Everton style.

WOW :wow: :wow:

I'm in complete shock. See - I was under the impression that the CHELSEA fans of North London had a lot more clout!!! A lot more Power!!!!

But boy was I wrong... :wow:

I guess Roman will be Roman. Back to firing and sacking managers every 2-3 years it is!!! Hail Roman!!!!!

Where does Mou go now to absolutely stick it to Chelsea? City or United? Whichever job Pep doesn't take?

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to United now

Board wouldn't want him. He's always been a short term fix. That's not something United are looking for.

You're right, LVG and David Moyes were the long term deals United was looking for...

Or maybe Pep coming in for his 2-3 years would also be the long term fix

Come on Eiddy, there are many reason United wouldn't want Jose, but "short-term" being one of them? Doubt it, United will NEVER find that long term manager again.

"Long term" managers might be a thing of the past imo given today's footy climate. Doubt we'll be seeing a lot of Wengers and Fergies in the future staying on 10+ years at one club.

Coupe I know he's from Portugal so you'll have a bias toward him but son lost EVERYONE. Players, media and PR, staff. And a lot of fans are just loyal to whatever their club does. Bet a lot of them support the decision in the club getting rid of him now that it's the course of action they've gone with.

If they were willing to take a massive financial hit to get rid of him then you know it's an extremely calculated probable best move for the club

Porto? Inter? Portugal NT?

I'm sure he has a long list of jobs lined up.

Chelsea probably has some clause that he can't sign to anothe Primier League team for a while

Im legit expecting Flo to get in touch with him once he gets second thoughts/Jittery about throwing Zidane straight into the fire

When I say long-term I'm not talking about some 26 year career man.

Fact is, it will take Mourinho a minimum of 1 season to get his team figured out. If all went according to plan, second season he would win something. Third season, he would lose the dressing room, and someone else would have to come and pick up the pieces.

That's not something that United is looking for.

Moyes was purely a SAF appointment.

LVG made sense based on who else was available and the fact that he was going to gut out the rot, and fix the leaking holes (this process is still sorta lol in progress).

Right now, Mou would NOT be the right appointment.

Mourinho's third year meltdown curse strikes again. The curse is real. :x

16th place is definitely no excuse.

I still haven't figured out why Roman fired Carlo.

Rol, he won't get fired at all. You need to come to terms with that

If 80% of Chelsea fans want to keep Mourinho, wtf are expecting? Lol. You still don't get it, cause you've been saying this since like October

So, Mourinho has job security. Okay, he just won the EPL this calendar year, ya'll want to talk about job security? Have you not heard about Arsene Wenger? Have you not heard about Arsenal? What their fans have gone thru, go talk job security with Arsenal fans
