Remember in 2013 when SAF retired out of nowhere and Jose was on his last legs at Real Madrid getting ready for Chelsea?

I firmly believed if they were in communication with each other during that time, if SAF had told Mou that he'd be leaving, and Mou told him he was done with Real and ready to go back to England - Mou would have easily picked the United over Chelsea.

I've always felt like Mou was destined to manager at United, SAF always hinted that Mou could replace him. Both have a great relationship - So as a neutral I really hooe it happens.

I'm listening to "talkSport" an English radio station at work, United fans are calling up now saying "let's go after Jose right now!!" Tune into "talkSport" if you're bored at work btw.

TBH I'd take Mou if I were United too...

He knows how to win. The players just have to get behind him and believe in his ways and philosophy.

Mou could build the '88 Pistons of football if he got the right minded players behind him.

If you give Mou a squad full of talented, hungry, goal scoring scumbags. He'd eat the league.

They did talk about it. Jose was on of the first person who SAF told he was leaving. Fergie also said he knew Jose wanted to come back to Chelsea

Mou at United would be a strong 2 years, no denying that.

Y'all would get tired of the defensive approach quick though.

Tactics wise,Pep makes the most sense. The squad would already have a background on his possession style from LVG so it would be a smoother transition on field but Mou could also work out,the board would probably think so as well given the prestige that comes with his name .

.
Its settled then Jose to United.

I didnt say I'm on board though just yet . Give me Carlo and Pep over a currently dejected Mou

Give him a year off to get back on his feet and I'll probably think differently

Don't really follow Bundesliga as much as I would like to so im curious as to why Pep wants to leave Bayern?
Not that he wants to leave per say but he announced a long while back that he was just going to see the end of his contract then dip out. No harm no foul. He's done at the end of this season.

I'm one of those that would've liked to see Mou not fired. I agree with 8PM that he is part of us dearly but hey don't upset an angry Russian right?

Man I love footy. It's my favourite telenovela on TV right now

Really? Wait - so SAF tried to convince him to come replace him?

You say "dejected", a dejected Mou...okay

I say a "motivated great white lurking for Chelsea blood" Mou

If Mou was dejected when Chelsea let him go in 2008, then you can give me the Mourinho who came right after - any day of the week. The Mourinho who cried for his players and whose players cried for him, the one at Inter Milan, who made ****** history. You should want a "dejected" Mou

I'm in the same boat regarding Mou didnt want him gone but it is what it is. Hope we can get Pep or Carlo and get this squad back on track. We will see if the guys play with more passion now that Mou is gone

The thing is why would Pep or Carlo put themselves in a position where they'll get canned by Roman in a few months

Not to mention lack of CL

Roman ****** himself

Y'all better get David Moyes or Brendan on the phone
