They deal seems like the same one United gave Monaco for Martial. Only 30m will be paid upfront and the rest are incentive based. Just annoying to see all these club spend while Roman decided to be cheap all of a sudden. I know now how it feels to be a Arsenal fan lol

Man, I really hope we decided to spend money this summer. Sign the striker from Marseille, bring in Neves from Porto, Carvalho, Nolito, dude from the Ukraine, SOMEBODY! Chelsea's getting Allgeri, Man Utd's getting Mou, Pool with Kloop, City with Pep, and Spurs only getting stronger, we're in danger of being left behind. If no major signings are made over the summer, those ticket holders better stop going to the games.

No league title in over 10yrs, manager refuses to getting into bidding wars with other clubs, highest ticket price in the league. Let be real here, Arsenal fans will complain and moan but will never stop from still going to games.

They are snagging up all the talent and are willing to throw absurd amounts of money at these clubs for these players.

Louie already translated and explained it, so I won't bother (good job btw)...

But this has left me extremely angry and speechless.

This is the type of **** that ignites tensions within a rivalry - then potentially leads to blood being spilled. This is outrageous, I'm shocked. The game between the B teams of Porto vs Benfica was played in England somewhere, for some tournament - I hope the English police peep this and find these dudes.

I want to see if this is sustainable...

Didn't Drogba leave a Chinese club cause they couldn't pay his wages after a while?

I doubt that it will be too sustainable. Still plenty of talent in the world. From what I've seen its all the washed up Brazilians anyway. These guys in China are trying super hard. Kind of like the Saudi league a few years ago trying to buy everyone.

Teixeira is probably the best talent to be out there but let's not act like he's a Costa, Coutinho or Firmino caliber type player. Dudes out here trying to take the Hulk approach and be complacent with the money in a tin pot league and not competition.

Speaking of Hulk I just read a rumor saying a Chinese club is ready to offer a 91 million offer for him :rollin:rollin

Inflation and probably a lot of corrupt money to begin with. I can see why these players go tho don't get me wrong. You are setting your family up for life. I also doubt China is as racist as Russia and certain parts of Europe but a lot of Chinese people are more Xenophobic than insulting you on the color of your skin. Luca Modric and Pepe are definitely holes in the theory but they could just be outliers :lol
