I'm not taking anything away from Depay, even wanted him prior to us getting Sterling but this is a big reality check for him. Still plenty of games left this season to see if any fire can burn in him but if he doesn't change things around he's just gonna be another footballer lost in history wasting away the talent.

I just don't see that happening unfortunately. I don't even see LVG playing Memphis again this season.

He's also unlucky because LVG makes strange subs, and often at the wrong time. Bringing on players extremely late, with very little time to find their feet and make an impact. So realistically if LVG sticks to that mentality, I can't see Memphis playing again, in any relatively important match this season.

His best hope is to get to the Euro's and beast there to impress for next season.
LULZ QUE? Netherlands didn't even qualify for the Euro 2016 finals

:wow:

zOMGGGF SOMEONE EDITED HIS WIKI. Must mean United Fans have all turned on Memphis cuz only fans can edited wikipedias.

This is bigger news than the super bowl which only gets played by one country but somehow it's a big deal that the only events with more viewers are international events with the whole world partaking or all of Europe. And then omg they call it world champions?! It should be United States champions because who knows if they could take on the Frankfurt Wienerschnitzels or the Dumbørg Actual Vikings. Stoopid uncultured American masses, so inferior to us classy worldly footy lovers.
man if you don't shut the **** up

Not even gonna lie, I don't even know who qualified for Euro's besides France since they're the host nation. I didn't bother to watch any of the qualifiers.

I assumed they qualified.

I guess it's just the summer tour to try and impress.

So he's gotten some burn for the U-21's today and had a great run to set up the 2nd goal.

It's still very early to judge Memphis, for all we know he could be a monster next season. Willian was trash for us for a couple years before emerging this season
lolwut ? Willian scored some big Goals for y'all. And during that time you considered him to be trash ? :rolleyes
His EPL stats:

2013/2014: 25 appearances, 4 goals
2014/2015: 36 appearances, 2 ******* goals
2015/2016: 24 appearances, 3 goals

Although he has improved this season, he had been trash for Chelsea for the first two seasons.

I wouldn't call him trash his first two years here...more like...bi-polar

He tracked back religiously, good dribbler and makes good runs but he couldn't finish AT ALL and always made the wrong pass in the final third.

This year he found FK ability from seemingly out of nowhere while doing everything else he did before and slightly improved his decision making in the final third.

I did didn't I

They both share a lot of the same qualities, probably why our attack is so inconsistent as well.

I remember Willian dribbling in circles some games. He'll see his teammate then pass at the last second when he needs to or gets closed out on and screw up many chances. I remember Schurlle getting burn on the right side over him too.

Really can't believe he turned it around though. You really can't use goals as a measure for him since that's not really his expertise. I'm surprised Chelsea stuck it out with Oscar and Willian, usually people who play bad for Chelsea gets loaned or sold

Speaking of the WC. The time difference between us and Russia is going to be real frustrating in 2018. Won't be as bad as Korea/Japan in 2002, but it'll be close.

Both are great at tracking back, so Mou stuck with them. However with Hazard still on summer break, we needed both to step up offensively and only Willian has

Decided because of you instigating exaggerating *** ninjas that I'll just delete the post and handle it via PM

So let's let this ish die and not derail or cause a B Fresco
