Wouldn't be surprised to see Malaga mess around and steal this match tbh...

They've played especially well this half

Guess our best bet is with Someone's men again

Ahh well it was nice while it lasted to thing he youngsters could do it. I've still been impressed with most of em so far today.

And yeah the difference in play from Hart to Caballero is drastic lol.

The papers have been on fire today with reports of a fierce boardroom power struggle between the footballing contingent in SAF,the Co92 and Sir Bobby and the business people including Woody.

The former apparently want Giggs as the next manager at all costs which a lot of folks put that on them being anti-Mou and SAF trying to regain some of the power/influence he's lost since Moyes was sacked. The latter want Mou as the next manager and believe he's the best option available to return the club back to its winning ways faster than any other option.

Some of the reports went as far to allege that SAF has been in his feels over Mou since he was his biggest challenger in the PL and he purposely curved him for the job when he was retiring.

In this battle for the clubs future,I'm gonna have to kindly ask SAF and his disciples to have a seat given that he's partly responsible for the mess the club finds itself in by hand picking Moyes as a successor...

Apparently SAF's side have been the ones pushing the Giggs succession stories in the media recently when the Mou talks really picked up.

For some reason,Pellegrini used this match as a training session for his youngsters while Chelski went with a regular squad

There's 51 also! I mean it seems like they should have just forfeited the match and just saved the effort.

He went with this lineup because of the CL match in a couple days. That and the number of injuries we have had which really limited the depth of the squad right now.

Who hasn't gone through heavy/serious injuries this season though? Seems like a good amount of teams including most of the title contenders minus Leicester and Spurs have all gone through a rash of injuries this year

A whole month? I remember him being out no more than a couple of weeks after new years last month. He still played in all of their important ties iirc

Of course we haven't been the only team with injuries I was just pointing out that that was one of the reasons Pellers went with this youth heavy lineup. And that injuries to key players being out for a while really sucks lol.
