KDB is still in Volkswagen Arena. He was just autographing a kid's Rodriguez's kit.

The fact that someone actually paid money for Evans is a testament to the good work that Lord Woodward is putting in...

I mean....he just removed 65k pounds a week of dead weight off the wage bill.

Are we sure it's him though and not somebody higher? Arsenal makes gobs of money, and the team is consistently better then average with great support. They have been that way for the last 10 years... What incentive is there for anybody in management there to change?

No incentive and no rush to change when Wenger knows how secure his job is and will forever be.

Do you guys buy that Arsene only selects certain players that fit is philosophy? Or is Arsenal just ran as a business first with no real ambition to spend in order to compete for the league and CL like they're financially capable of?

The summer's net spending will be $0 once the Evans deal gets done

I used think the former but lately I've started to think the latter

I am under the impression it is the second comment. If it were the first, they would have made major changes to the squad.

I don't see anything changing until they don't qualify for the cl. Until then, nothing will change.

Apparently Rafa was "hours away" from joining the Hammers over the summer when Real came calling

I saw that earlier

. I'm all for Robben but not for that much at his age

. Also doubting Bayern would let go of him so late in the window.

he's like HHH in the WWE...he selects players that fit his philosophy of what's best for business

i think it's both but definitely emphasizes the latter first and foremost. reminds me of the bruins, sometimes :smh:

Yea, as long as he's winning that 4th place trophy every year, he's not going anywhere.

Oh that's right, the glorious FA cup titles back to back.

Wenger will never leave now. Even if he misses the CL

70 million for robben is a terrible investment. he can not stay healthy.

the bpl is not a good league for people who are injury prone.

then theres euros this summer...he is going to be hobbling by next season.

Will be up in 6 hours to head to sunny Bournemouth.

Get on the beach and have a few beers, win, then party with Jamie Vardy.
