The fact that someone actually paid money for Evans is a testament to the good work that Lord Woodward is putting in...


I mean....he just removed 65k pounds a week of dead weight off the wage bill.

No incentive and no rush to change when Wenger knows how secure his job is and will forever be.
 
Do you guys buy that Arsene only selects certain players that fit is philosophy? Or is Arsenal just ran as a business first with no real ambition to spend in order to compete for the league and CL like they're financially capable of?

I am under the impression it is the second comment. If it were the first, they would have made major changes to the squad.

I don't see anything changing until they don't qualify for the cl. Until then, nothing will change.

i think it's both but definitely emphasizes the latter first and foremost. reminds me of the bruins, sometimes :smh:

70 million for robben is a terrible investment. he can not stay healthy.  

the bpl is not a good league for people who are injury prone.

then theres euros this summer...he is going to be hobbling by next season.
