Let's look at what Van Gaal has done in his short time with United.

He's taken away the entire striking core that was dangerous and replaced them with an unproven 19 year old that didn't exactly burn up Ligue 1. Chicha and Van Persie are more than serviceable, and damn sure more proven.

In the midfield, he's unable to find even a low grade version of Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, and while it's a tall order, they're Manchester United. Players are supposed to want to come to Old Trafford. Barcelona signed cats who are willing to sit out for half the season, you mean to tell me yall aren't on that level?


You've got a ton of guys that are talking between each other and saying that they don't want to work for United. LvG's rep stinks out here, fam. He'll gut your team, sure. But great managers will take existing pieces and make the team better, and United had some pretty damn good pieces just three seasons ago. Hell, he managed to upset the best player in the squad in De Gea, and now he's gone.

Just be realistic fam. You don't have to lie to kick it. Manchester United are in a tailwind, and it starts from the top. Ownership is cashing in on the brand, management is helpless, and the manager just might be senile.

The 19 year old was a gamble. But so was a young Wayne Rooney.
RVP was picking up injuries too often, and he needed to go. Especially with those wages.

Carrick and Schweinsteiger are being nursed back to full fitness, Schneiderlin is learning the system.

Players want to goto Barca because they're one of the best teams in the world. United are nowhere near Barca right now and it's been that way for a few years. Hence the current revamp taking place. Did you forget that only last Wednesday United was confirmed CL footy? Players aren't dreaming of signing to clubs still unsure about CL footy.

at upsetting De Gea. DDG has Been wanting to leave United for years, because his family and girlfriend live in Madrid. DDG leaving has nothing to do with LVG.

I think people are quick to forget that clubs go through successful waves, and right now, United are in the process of rebuilding to ride the next wave...

i mean to be fair about the attacking core you talked about, he didn't really do a ton to ruin that. RVP lost his form due to injury/old age and its not like he only performed poor at untied, he's losing his place on the NT as well. chicharito, need i say more? rooney doesn't have it anymore either as far as goal scoring and being a CF goes. adding memphis and martial is a nice injection of pace and youth to the wings. they still need a good striker but to say he gutted a dangerous striking core is unfair IMO
