Cavani has never suffered a career threatening injury like Falcao though...Still think that he's perfectly built for the Prem.

So Wales is ranked above England in the latest world rankings...

Joel Campbell still on the squa?

Mans on loan to Villareal. Chuba Akpom is on loan, too. But hell, he's got one goal in two years of playing with the pros.

---

The club didn't know Welbeck was headed toward major surgery? The doctors? No one? No one knew that Welbeck was going to be out for a significant period of time and that signing even a yeomanlike player would be a good idea?

Man, God bless yall Gooners.

I'm still laughing, though.

@1victorvaldes:
No matter what happens.
The only way I know is to work hard every day.
Thank you all for your support ! #mufc

This LVG - VV beef needs to end or be resolved amicably,it's become embarrassing and it's making us look bad/petty to mostly everyone :smh:. Even Pedro talked about VV's poor treatment although he made a point of saying that- it didn't influence his decision but who knows.

It feels like almost all of our keepers are unsettled in some way  ,Johnstones agent just blasted LVG for not sending him out on loan which left me scratching my head as well...

I think that was just for the end of last season. I just checked the official website he's not listed as on loan.

And Arsenal's medical staff has BEEN sus.

We hired the head medical staff from the German national team and nothing has changed.

This is even after Arsene takes a scientific approach with training and diet.

He doesn't let the players practice for longer 45 minutes supposedly

Random interesting football contract clauses...

-When Arsenal bought Oxlade-Chamberlain from the Saints in 2013, Southampton negociated a €14,000 fee every time AOC plays 20 minutes in a game. Arsène Wenger knows it and, at the beginning, subs him in at minute 72 vs Stoke, 73 vs Liverpool, 72 vs Coventry, etc. Every time, less than 20 minutes on the pitch. But Southampton later sent a bill to Arsenal where they counted in extra time, which increased his play time to more than 20 minutes. Arsenal ended up paying and the clause was made public by the Daily Mail.

-A clause in Neymar's transfer will grant his family's firm €2 million if he wins Ballon d'Or. He also gets a €2,5 million bonus if he doesn't criticize his coach's choices, according to El Pais.

-Every football player from Lille LOSC earned €10,000 thanks to Eden Hazard's sale to Chelsea in 2012. "Everyone was happy about this transfer", smiled defender Franck Béria

-Congolese player Rolf-Christel Guié-Mien demanded that Eintracht Francfort pays his wife cuisine lessons if he signed for the club.

-German player Giuseppe Reina got played by his club Bielefeld. It was written in his contract that he would receive a house for each season spent at the club. But the size of the house wasn't detailed in the contract. After a year at the club he got offered a house that was... 20 cm high (8 inches). He still stayed 3 seasons at the club, before leaving on rather bad terms. Die Welt.

-Clause in Thiago Silva's contract grants him €492,000 a year if he doesn't speak ill about PSG in the media.

That Thiago Silva clause

Hazard helping everyone at Lille prosper  :pimp:

He was on loan at Villareal last season. He's still in the squad.
Yea, they knew since last week that he was going to have knee surgery. He was working on his fitness during the summer. He had a setback about 2-3 weeks prior, surgery was the only option. It was a bone bruise apparently, and it normally heals on it's own. Dude also has Osgood-Schlatter disease. So clearly, there's always going to be an underlying issue. Even though Wenger said that he wanted to keep Campbell, he had some loan offers. But with Welbeck out, we had to keep him.
Akpom and Sanogo can't be recalled. I assume the latter would be Wenger's choice tho. But when needed, I'm sure we'll see some of Iwobi, Jeff and/or Willock

Shad from the German team, the strength and conditioning therapist. Had real high hopes for what we would bring to the team.
Lewin, the head of the medical staff. He's been there since the 90's....Idk how he's been there that long.
Nothing but injuries and setbacks

We joked about it but it was true

"He told me it was a very good club with great supporters and the only problem was with the coach," Pedro told Marca.

rolls reus out again due to injury for the national team. toe injury and he went back home and will miss both euro cup qualifiers :smh:

I tend to take former Gunners/Pool players opinions on the club with a few grains of salt . Same with scorned ex players

He took out the old core and is building his own new one,I see nothing wrong with that...

It actually feels like LVG's building for a strong squad in the future after he's gone

If De Gea signs that contract extension, chances of signing with Madrid are slim to none imo. I feel for him though, he needs to show his team he's committed and be prepared for the Euros.

I had a whole rant prepared about this whole situation but meh, I don't really care anymore.
