He's a player I watch and think "this guy isn't that good" and then he scores a goal or has an impact on the game and i'm just like

 

 

But he has always played really well for Belgium and even United on occasion. 

I think his play for Belgium is what gives LVG so much confidence in him

yeah haha i thought they were in 4th/5th of the group. theyre in 3rd. the 3 seed with the most points of the 9 teams automatically qualifies, then the other 8 play each other in 1 game playoffs where the winners get into the euros. netherlands are only 3 points off the czech and 5 off the group leaders iceland though. they can definitely get a top 2 spot if they win out

Y'all keep talking about this "transfer ban" for Real Madrid and how it could be a reason De Gea doesn't go there...

1) When Barca got the ban, they quickly appealed it and the the ban was delayed so they were allowed to go HAM in the 2014 Summer knowing they couldn't for the next two windows. Give Real that type of ultimatum, they'll go even harder next summer.

2) Barca is still signing players who are willing to spend half the season out. Same would happen with Madrid.

3) This is all speculation, might not even happen.

4) De Gea will end up in Madrid, for free. Good job Woody.

Reports out of Spain are also saying that nothing has been decided and Madrid will just wait it out to sign him.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see . Don't know how much DDG would risk missing out on more pt though. Del Bosque sort of hinted at maybe sticking with his favorite in Casillas if DDG doesn't play much.

As I've been saying,DDG is for sure going back home eventually. Its anyones guess when that'll happen especially given the state of affairs between the 2 clubs

It would be unwise and even more pathetic if they bench De Gea just because he doesn't sign a new contract. The manager shouldn't worry about that, LVG should just be concerned with putting the best XI out there and De Gea is by far the best keeper. Play him - giving him ultimatums are just going to makes things worse.

I understand benching him these past couple weeks because he was an asset they needed to protect, so he wouldn't get injured. But now it's "go time" daddy, time to buckle up and start playing games. United can't afford to be losing games because they got their best GK on the bench.

How is Sergio Romero going to communicate with his backline after an opponent whips in a cross and Blind misses the clearance because he doesn't know to use his head - **** is real out here.

To everyone else it's unwise but you already know how stubborn LVG is and how much he loves to show that the manager is in total control 

. He doesn't give a damn what anyone thinks,most players included

,to a detriment. So I wouldn't really be surprised if he benched him tbh,I'd be pissed as hell though

I just hope this gets resolved relatively soon and doesn't keep hanging over the season just like it did during the summer

You don't see many "moral" mega clubs but Bayern seems to be just that 

. They donated 1m towards the current Middle Eastern refugee crisis hitting Europe.

Bayern is a damn savvy and classy club. I could be wrong, but it seems like Germany overall does the best job of running their clubs properly.

Caught most of a re-run of the Sevilla-Atletico match that Atleti won 3-0. Sevilla looked awesome but couldn't break through. Makes you wonder if they hadn't sold Bacca. I really wish they didn't land in the group with Juve and City. They'll shock a lot of the non-La Liga viewers though with how well they play.

Jackson Martinez was subbed in and scored a nice one from outside of the box with his left foot to open up his La Liga account.
