Do yo need chromecast to get SportTv?

I just got back, saw it at a bar with my dad because Univision were being ******* idiots and not showing the game until 4pm (after it was over), they were showing some damn Mexican game.

What a finish tho! Th back heel to Andre! What a way to cut the throats of Benfica man.

Im not positive but I believe you can stream it to a smart TV, Xbox, Playstation or any dlna device.

I used to always goto either the Portuguese club or a bar to watch and would end up spending alot of cash. Now we just watch it here

All the Portuguese "bars" here in the Bay Area are fish markets with bad smells and nothing but nasty @!@ Super Bock or Sagres. That's why I prefer watching at home

Haha, I don't mind a superbock or sagres every now and then but I def rather be drinking something else.

I didn't even know there were many Portuguese in cali to be honest. I thought they were all here on the east coast

There's technically a decent amount of Portuguese people out here (especially in the farming cities) but most of them have been whitewashed into generic Americans with no culture. Just off the top of my head, I know dudes with last names of Costa, Gomes, Lopes, etc that have zero idea that they're even Portuguese

There's a small pocket of "real" Portuguese people in San Jose, which is usually where all the "bars" and "restaurants" are (using quotes as they're all fish markets )

I drank more than enough Sagres and SuperBock this summer in Lisboa. So bad, but you can't complain about 1-2 euros for a giant glass

Should have started De Gea and made him co captain
I've tried every fantasy sport there is over and over again and I just can't get into it. Tried footy last year, forgot after 3 weeks. So it's a pet peeve of mine when people talk fantasy, but yours is great "FC Bruh" that made me

 it's definitely an acquired taste.

I have a few homies who don't like playing either

It's always been interesting to me, the different pockets of groups of people that form in the certain parts of the Bay.

Always seemed to me that there were far more Portuguese than average in the San Leandro/Hayward/San Lorenzo area. Played with a few over the years.

There's a good amount of Portuguese descendants in the East Bay, but from my experience they're usually the type I mentioned. I'm not usually out near Hayward so I don't know for sure, but I mentioned San Jose because there's more culturally Portuguese people and establishments there rather than just descendants that are just Portuguese by last name.

This is the highlight of our Portuguese nightlife. $15 cover charge to sit at a fish market and liquor store  get the hell outta here with that

Yea agreed the ones I know it's definitley just the last name and a distant understanding that's where their families come from.

Blame the parents and grandparents dude. But I get why they've been white-washed, most of Portuguese decedents in the Bay Area came a long time ago, like 100 years ago. Lots of the Portuguese decedents in the North-East came in during that time also but there was a huge influx of Portchops that came in during the 70's, 80's and 90's. Lot's from the North of Portugal. Those that came in 50-100 years ago were from the Azores and the South.

White-washing will happen, especially after 100 years. You'll get the what I like to call the "Mark Teixeira's, Dustin Pedroia's, Johnny Gomes'" of the American's who'll have no Portuguese identity but have Portuguese blood and last names. (Yea dude, those guys are Portuguese if you didn't know  )

Lot's of good Portuguese bars out here but they've definitely aren't as much as there was when I was a child. 25-50 years from now, I'll expect the same type of white-washing. Most of those Portuguese bars will be bought by Brazilians or Central Americans (those seem to be the immigrants that are coming in a lot in this area now).

Yea I get you. It's bound to happen. I mean, I'm kinda Mexican/Filipino/Vietnamese washed myself because of the neighborhoods I grew up in, and on top of that I'm only half. I can speak Spanish much better than I can speak Portuguese  But at least have some knowledge. For example my coworker's last name is Gomes, and when we were reviewing a client payroll file with the last name Fernandes, he just couldn't grasp why it wasn't spelled with a Z. When I explained it to him, he said "Oh I didn't know Portuguese people spelled Spanish names like that." Really ??? I didn't even bother reminding him that he has a Portuguese name himself; at that point you're just too far gone

Bruh if we don't get DDG ever because of Flo smfh. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's a Man U lifer now after that debacle.

In other keeper related news Ter Stegen goofed again and gave up a goal in Barca's win. And Messi sent a PK into the stands. Bartra had a top class striker's finish chesting the ball down off what's become a signature messi left-foot curling lob pass.

CT, naugatuck. About 20 min north of Bridgeport. For a small town we have a decent Portuguese population

Bro I know Nagatuak, that's the valley. I have a cousins who live out in that area (Monroe, Shelton, some other town) . Valley has a lot of Portchops who all came from Bridgeport. I know Bridgeport well too, my parents had lived there for many years before moving westward to Westchester. The club, the bars, I know, I know.
