Klopp really going to Pool?
I still think Klopp might wait on that highly coveted Southampton job to open....

I'll believe the Klopp rumours when I see it...

Still think they should go after someone realistic like Frank de Boer

That's still up in the air and Pep is probably gonna stay past this season with the way things have started. I remember reading that the chairman would be open to extending him too. That's too much uncertainy and time to wait for Klopp. I think he'll eventually get the Bayern job down the line but he'll probably have another job before.

This is really interesting...

Was just reading Klopp's wiki, and he played for just one team for 11 seasons (Mainz,) but literally halfway through his career he was switched from playing striker to a defender.

Klopp is probably the coolest manager out there laugh.gifsmokin.gif,if there's anyone that could possibly turn 'Pool around it'd be someone like him.

People really believed that? Bvb fans probably would of killed him. Pep ain't going anywhere he's the highest paid manager and he pretty much has his pick of his player selections.

Kloop dreams club have always been pool and Arsenal. He's need time though and Rodgers screwed up pool so badly with his transfers, they may be set back two years. He needs at least three years, don't know if pool has the patience.

At least it's not ancelloti. figure Roman has him on call the greatest manager the club ever had to suceed Jose.

Klopp should go to the Gunners.

Rather see Pep there, but he's probably not leaving Bayern.

Pep is heading to United when Van Gaal is done.

Wenger will be at Arsenal for the next 10 years

Whats up with Villas-Boas after this season? nerd.gif

To be honest I hope Chelsea don't fire Jose. I've never been a fan of firing coaches when they won the title the season before. I didn't like the talks last year of firing Pellegrini. I think Real firing Carlo Ancelotti was a terrible decision. However with every passing day and everything Jose says he doesn't help his case at all :lol. I'm waiting to see if Chelsea can at least get it together by the end of the year.

Mourinho is given vote of confidence by Chelsea but is told he must salvage season without big-money signings in January.

It should be fun.

Who said this again?

Moving on to United, I wonder if LvG has the balls to bench Rooney. This **** is getting embarassing out here for him. Much rather have Mata in that number 10 role and let him roam right now. I know I'm not going out on a limb saying this but I think United are in trouble this month. Crazy tough schedule and too be honest they haven't impressed yet - they've gotten the results so far tho, which is good - but I could I see points dropping.

Klopp going to Pool? Meh, I see him treating it like an interim job but def not going forward. Way better teams will be on the lookout next year. Another international break, blow me sick.gif

He's a big admirer of the history of the game and he's mentioned his interest at managing at OT in his biography. Just hope he decides to stay at Bayern for the duration of LVG's tenure, wouldn't want Citeh somehow snatching him up before then...

Juventus want to seal 20 million euro deal for Cuadrado. Chelsea valued Cuadrado at 25 mill euro.

I was reading an article about why Klopp to Liverpool should be amazing for The Prem and saw this video

If I were in Liverpool's shoes, I would take Ancelotti and break bread for transfers.

Klopp sounds exciting because we all think of the glory years of BVB. But realistically, he's had 2 titles, and one CL final. Ancelotti's resume is much more superior.

Klopp's recent performance at BVB before quitting was terrible. Word is, he even lost the dressing room. Carlo won La Decima before leaving.

He will also be able to attract names, something that Liverpool is in desperate need of.

Side note, there's also a Liverpool fans wet dream floating around of bringing Carlo in and Gerrard back from the US to try a LVG x Giggsy approach.
I really doubt that Carlo would take the job without CL footy guarantees. The reason why Klopp seems like such a good fit is that his style is unorthodox and he could bring in a whole new direction for the club which it desperately needs. What he achieved at BVB was no small feat when competing with Bayern. I don't buy the lost locker room stories though since almost everyone of his players, including just about all the stars, had nothing but praise for him when he left. They were just cursed with key injury after injury for most of last season on top of their poor start and key departures.

Carlo imo has always been gifted with strong squads and endless transfer budgets,I really doubt he'd be have the patience to sign up for what's really a rebuilding project at 'Pool. Feel like Klopp would relish a real challenge like 'Pool a lot more than Carlo.

I feel like Chelsea should look at Carlo again if they ever do sack Mou after the season.

Whoever FSG does settle on,they'll have to give him their full backing and get rid of the bogus "transfer committee" politics and give whoever is in charge full control of transfers.
Carlo isn't going to pool laugh.gif. Carlo is a great tournament coach and above average season coach. For example, he seems to always more more efforts towards's winning the CL than the league, like he did with RM when they won la decima. Plus Ancelotti doesn't rotate that much. During tournament's it's fine but with a hectic PL schedule is very daunting. And pool aren't CL caliber.

I hear you on those CL guarantees and I think that's one of the largest stumbling blocks for getting Carlo, the other would be not necessarily the transfer budget but the way FSG handles transfer by not giving the manager 100% control. Klopp would be an interesting choice. As I said though, for me Carlo would be the better choice, but I can see the value in a Klopp appointment.

With tv EPL teams have I don't see why transfer budget is even an issue especially for teams like Arsenal and Liverpool

Just checked the Serie A table and man...wth happened to Juve?? They're in 12th place eek.gifeek.gifeek.gif. I mean I get that they lost the likes of Tevez,Pirlo and Vidal but they also brought in some good players over the summer. No way should their quality of play have dropped off this drastically this soon...

I don't think the budget is the issue, it's who is making the decisions....even with tons of money you can't afford to buy the wrong players cause it will set you back when your stuck with gold covered ish. Nobody wants gold covered ish.
