What will be interesting will be the defensive set up.

With Otamendi coming in, Denayer will most likely get loaned out. I could see it being Everton if they sell John Stones, too.

I'm happy that Mangala wanted to fight for his position, although, it's weird reading reports that Pelligrini was giving him the option to leave after just one season.

Either way, I'm happy that we solved our depth issue at center half.

or replace Januzaj with Herrera... his link play with mata was brilliant last season..

He's also familiar with Otamendi in the back four and they have some good chemistry so when Kompany starts falling off they can play together (Memories.. ) - I'm really, really pissed Porto didn't get more last year for Otamendi tho. His transfer saga was such a weird one.


Now moving on, UNITED FANS - WTF is going on dudeeeee? Woodward is suppose to be the savior and I don't see any moves being made now. He was practically on a Saints Prayer Cards making such good moves but I don't see anything being done right now Ya'll need a CB and a Striker bad.

I'm starting to think that he's waiting for the CL spot to be officially locked up before filling out the rest of the squad with more signings. Reports out of Spain and England say that he met with the Barca board during yesterdays copa match and is looking to wrap up Pedro's deal this week. Other reporters were also saying that he spent some time watching Aymeric Laporte in action for Bilbao and could move for him before the end of the window.

We've been linked to him for about a year now and now seems to be as good a time as any to sign him with our need at CB. His clause is the same price as Otamendi's but I'd be more comfortable with that since he's only 21 compared to 27.
