What disappoints me most is that Klinsmann was supposed to bring in attacking football. Instead, we're seeing the SAME "defend with our lives and pray for a lucky goal" from the Bob Bradley era. The team will never progress if they keep playing like this. I'd rather have our team go out there, play attacking football, and lose by a bunch of goals rather than play how they did today. There's currently no motivation for future American players to improve their technical skills when giving up around 80% possession is seen as something normal.

Was at work so I couldn't watch the match so it's disappointing if that's how the match went ^

Memphis needs to go into Kobe mode.

United could be his team if he gets his **** straight.

Memphis still has time, but I don't think it helps his confidence that Martial Arts has come in and made an immediate impact.

Reading the last two pages makes it seem to me like everything was civil last night, thats good.

It was also a Saturday night, that other US vs Mexico game was in the summer during the week so it was worse.

Damn I was at the match last night, atmosphere was UNREAL

When Mexico scored that late winner the crowd went absolutely insane, it almost looked fake

I swear the only US fans were our little section of Outlaws, fans in the stadium mustve been like 80%/20% in favor of Mexico

Anyone think it was a little racist last night when the white dude kept saying how they're dancing in the streets of different cities? laugh.gif

Like if the USA or England scored a late winner nobody is tombout anyone dancing in the streets anywhere. It's just "they're celebrating" laugh.gif

laugh.gif What? I hear American soccer media refer tocelebrating fans "as dancing in the street" literally after every match of any importance. It's like their go to cliche overused phrase. It's damn near annoying. At least the phrase is usually accompanied by actual video of said fans celebrating in the street. laugh.gif

Honestly, youre probably right. I feel like it was just our group of Outlaws and the rest (probably like ~80 thousand) were Mexico fans. I really wish I had a raw video of the stadium after they scored that late winner, I've never seen anything like it. **** looked fake laugh.gif

No man. You're reaching so far right now.

You've never heard them say it when talking about the U.S. because we've never accomplished anything. laugh.gif

Seriously man I don't know what to tell you. "Theyre dancing in the street," or "pandemonium in the streets" of ________ country is literally their go to catch phrase when any group of fans in the world is celebrating. Like I said, A lot of times they'll actually segment to a live feed of a town square or Plaza in Germany, Chile, Spain, wherever.

You're tripping man there was absolutely nothing racist about it. laugh.gif

This. The hype was annoying and unfounded. Had dudes in here saying he could reach Messi status. It's gratifying to seem him be mediocre.

Gratification from another man's lack of success? sick.gif

Memphis might have been on a few too many swag list but he's a 21 year old transitioning to a whole different level of competition.

I wouldn't get hard off his mediocrity just yet.
