Is avoiding confrontation/fighting some one cowardly or more mature?

How about this.

If you fronted cash to an acquaintance . 250. And it's been 2 months. You see him at the mall. About to cop Jordan's what do you do?

You'd probably let him pee pee on you too.

You shoulda talked to that man about your money you *****.

He probably been knew you were soft that's why he took your pissy little Reginald pack anyway.

He STOLE from you...That can't ride in any way. You should have grabbed him up and pressed him at the very least.

Man, ever since I got into construction I've been hearing stories from travelers about people getting beaten half to death for the funniest things.

Most dudes these days are like chicks. They would rather scratch your whip. Atleast thats how it is with me. For my panochitas.

I'm still waiting for a couple of NTers to meet me at Grand Central Station for these paws.

At the courts I used to play ball at, fights would be an almost weekly event due to guys being to eager to pop off. Whether it was over a hard foul or someone calling to many fouls, the guys there were always looking for an excuse to fight. It got to a point where they started to shut down the park for awhile and after it reopened there was always a police car there during peak hours on Saturdays. After i started college I started playing at my school's rec center and stopped playing there, but I learned a valuable lesson from my days of playing there. Its just not worth it to get into unnecessary fights. I've seen to many guys get real injuries over nothing. One dude had his orbital bone by his eye broken during a fight there. Several dudes had completely avoidable trips to the city jail. After a certain age you realize a lot of people have nothing to lose, and are willing to take things to levels that are just not worth it for me.

I've seen ppl get killed for wayyyyy less. I posted a story a while ago about having to crack a ***** head open just because he OWED me money from gambling. That was back in my younger days but still...You let that type of **** ride, you gone be getting tried forever.

Resorting to violence isn't always necessary. A "friend" stole $1000 from my bank account using my debit card. I was using my debit to buy bottles at the bar (6 or 7, don't exactly recall) and he went along to carry all the glasses etc. Must've seen me type my code. When I woke up at home the next day I noticed my debit card was missing so I called him and he said I forgot it at his place.

Went to pick it up, left and checked the bank to see how much I'd spent at the bar. Dude bought a bunch of videogames, grocery shopping, ... roughly $1000 in purchases and withdrawals and transferred $1000 from one of my other accounts to the deposit account hoping I woulndn't notice I guess.

Got my money back the same day + $200 extra without having to raise my voice or lift a finger.

I went to his house and calmly told him transfer the money + 20% extra or I leave and go straight to the police. Not only for the obvious debit card theft but some of his other dirty laundry as well. A couple minutes later I had my money back along with the extra.

One of the old homies owed me money in college (I think about four hundred) and was ducking me... Cat was living on the other side of campus, so after a month of being ducked, I posted up outside his dorm room for about six hours, silent as a mouse, until he goofed and opened his door. This dude helped me walk his new TV, about 30 video games, game system (not sure what kind if was) and remotes down to my minivan. He came up with the funds about a week later and got his stuff back.

forgive me legal ignorance, but isn't that considered extortion ?

+20% extra?
Simply getting my $1000 back didn't feel like adequate punishment. I just made it clear that robbing me isn't a good idea. I don't hold grudges though so we were cool again after the incident. He learned his lesson so we never spoke of it again after that and just moved on.
