Wore the curry 2 all day to work and to the game tonight. Feet ache like hell. Definitely feel more narrow than the 1s. Shoulda gone a half size up.
That's the LAST Thing I wanted to hear. These might be a No-Go.

i had tried them on in the store. they felt pretty good during the few steps i took there. went TTS. however, an entire day's use was when i noticed the problems. I'd prolly say 4 or 5 hours in is where i really started noticing how narrow they run. the above is correct in saying the length is slightly less than the curry 1. i do feel achy around the sides of my feet, just before the toes. only on my right foot tho. go figure

I have had the same outcome, and feel the same as you.  Feel fine until I hit the 4 hour mark.  I thought they were supposed to be wider, but after that 4 hours or so, feel more narrow.

Are you saying you used them for long term casual use?  It's not surprising at all what you described since feet swell if you're standing and walking around all day.  Lots of shoes feel comfortable initially, but the true test is how they feel after an entire day.

I'm 31 now, and I stopped wearing basketball shoes casually a long time ago.  Not knocking or judging anyone who does, but for me, I just need comfortable shoes since I spend enough time working out or playing in trainers and bball shoes.

Goldmember - where around the toes? Balls of feet or over the tops?

more on top and side of toes. they felt amazing when i first tried them on.. jumping around the house and such.. but it started hurting at gametime.. its not all the time but i feel it when i sprint or make hard cuts.. .. i dont know if i should go 0.5 up because i already have some wiggle room and it doesn't feel tight at all.

haha yea used these for long term casual use. i take a train to work and immediately went to the warrior game afterwards. so i went to work in my fan gear. i have however survived many similar days with my curry 1 and various jordans without incident. so maybe is the shoes, maybe it's my feet, maybe it's cause they got that new shoe stiffness. who knows

Also my kobe 9 beethovens were tight and i really feel like i shouldve gone .5 up but it doesn't even hurt when i play, it feels tight but not pain.. so.. i know the difference when if i get the wrong size.. im thinking maybe its the upper needing breaking time.. really hoping here

Exactly how I have been feeling lately. I feel like i should be selling nearly all my ball shoes that I dont play in. Nearly every ball shoe starts to pinch after a few hours. Especially since I finally copped a pair of ultra boost, its pretty hard to justify keeping ball kicks for casual wear if they dont even feel good after a few hours.

hooped in the isi's last night and they're pretty light weight. nice cushion. didn't feel any pain. they crease pretty easy tho.

i'm gonna give 'em another few runs, but i swear, the jordan xx9 has been the best basketball shoe i've hooped in all year.
