OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

As much as I liked the quote I just heard the audio and they took it way out of context lol

The dude is going to get roasted by the media, and also the NFL.  I disagree with it, but I feel like this will hurt his draft stock because coaches and scouts and the random talking head guys will say how it shows he doesn't follow leadership, he doesn't respect authority, and every other bs type of comment about it.   He will prob drop to something like the 4th round, and then tear it up in the NFL once he gets there and everybody is going to be like "why did all those teams pass on him?"

Coaches/GMs will say whatever they can to hopefully help dude slide to their pick. What he said last night will have ZERO bearing on his draft stock.

*Need Urban to get sick and end up at UMD.

MSU beat an OSU team that has been overrated all year, and that makes them worthy of #1, FOH....

 Who has a better resume?

They have three top 25 wins. Who else has that? They probably have more wins against teams with winning records than any other top 10 team too.

Again, it's moot, but truth nonetheless.

Bama has both.

The only team Bama has beaten in the top 25 is miss st

Are you talking about currently in the rankings? They've beaten ranked Wisconsin, UGA (top 10) A&M (top 10), LSU (top 10), Miss St. and their loss is still better than NEB.

^Right. Fail. Bama's resume does not stack up. Next.

Dude said Wisco, UGA and A&M

We're talking about current rankings.... Why would we talk about rankings when they played?

Paul Rhoads is an excellent coach and a terrific motivator. Paul Rhoads also only won 32 games in seven seasons as head coach of the Cyclones.

Some of that is talent related and some, it might be argued, was scheme driven.

Two sources FootballScoop has spoken with over the past month have noted that ISU AD Jamie Pollard has been keeping his eyes on Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo. Niumatalolo’s unique offensive scheme is sound, hard to prepare for and has succeeded with a less “traditional” talent than many opponents.

Niumatalolo has a terrific job at Navy; but this is a huge hire for Pollard and the chatter has been that ISU will pay up to get their guy. If Iowa State can make the contract right, one has to think Niumatalolo would strongly consider the option if presented.
