not a risky move by Kyle Allen? Realistically, does anyone (outside of Houston fans) think Herman doesn't leave after next year?

This has all the makings of a Charlie Strong situation. I remember Louisville fans swearing up and down Strong wouldn't leave them.

Houston has shown that they aim to be an offensively explosive/spread team so even if Herman leaves its a pretty good bet that whomever they replace him with would be a fit for Allen's skillset

Certainly a risk nontheless though
