You should've known UCF was gonna be trash when oleary was begging for the AD job during fall camp

oh I know we were bad, but didn't know we were going to be dumpster fire bad.

If we stay winless, Oleary will be the proud architect of TWO winless seasons.

Still don't know why Dr. Hitt allowed Oleary to be the AD. Dude is bringing down all of the athletics with him.

No

I was watching this game out of hope he could save the Texans' franchise.

Same reason I watched lol, he looked good and who knows how the game, hypothetically speaking, turns out if his top guy doesn't give him his first pick and catches the dropped TD. Utah Dline put him in his rookie scenario on a bad team.
I see the potential.

UCF has to be doing some terrible player evaluations there's no reason they should ever be winless 6 weeks into the season

How old is Bill Snyder? 95? Some of these coaches better beg him to hold several coaching clinics

No one does more with less than him. Every single year

I get the praise for him, but how come people never criticize him for also blowing big leads every year? I didn't watch this game but last week they were up on Ok St. and his coaching got super conservative almost like he was thinking "ok we're winning, now the coaching manual tells me not to take any chances that could result in a turnover. Run a dive. Throw a bubble screen. Run a QB keeper. 4th and short near mid field? Time to punt."

Every game I watch it's the same. Even in the UCLA game last year, it's the play calling that ultimately lost it for them.

Other coaches get killed for it, but why does he skate? Cuz he'd win 9-10 games in the big 12 north?

What do you mean every year?  Prior to these past two weeks his teams were 48-0 when leading at halftime.

I've seen multiple games where he had a lead or was within striking distance and would get super conservative in play calling. Maybe it's just the type of QB he always has but it'd seem like they'd be scared to take shots, even last year with Lockette and it would cost them games. Almost like he had his mind made up that this is how the team is going to score, safely and methodically, controlling clock.

Other coaches would catch flak for stubbornly doing the same thing but I've never heard it happen to him and I'm wondering why.

Even if it is just in the handful of games I'm citing, how come no one will ever say his coaching caused the loss?

If the answer is because over the past 25 years he's earned the benefit of the doubt and is off limits, that's fine. I can accept that answer, just wondering.

Bobby Layne Bobby Layne Upon a google search and some message board surfing I see now that KSU fans and blogs have been complaining about his conservative play calling and tendency to lean too heavily on the wildcat for years now, so nvm, I withdraw my question.

I had tears in my eyes watching Chubb go down man. I had to look away for a good while.
I think I'm sensitive bc I had pretty similar injury man.
This gonna be a long hard road back. Was hoping just acl. But PCL and other 2 ligaments too.

Goodness

its amazing to see a coach who can identify strengths and weaknesses of his team and his opponents as quickly as Jim Haurbaugh.

If they woulda gave him $300M contract it wouldn't be too much

I was saying the same last night, and its mostly the same players.

3 straight shutouts against FBS schools is crazy.

The past 2 weeks they've come out passing in the 2nd half where the run game was clearly working in the 1st and lost both games. The OCs aren't getting it done.

But they got some young good DBs tho, so does Texas. And they hit.

It really is amazing. I knew Harbaugh was a sure thing but no way did Inthink they'd look like this at this point. It makes me kinda sick actually thinking about some of our coaching situations
