OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

He fits the college game so much better IMO. His personality is not built to have guys under him for 7-8 years. 3-5 years and out with younger, impressionable guys is perfect. Kids seem like they're hanging on every word that comes out of his mouth right now.

Definitely not leaving after 2 years anyways.

Harbaugh about to pull in a monster class.

He'll win a Natty in just two years and go right back to the NFL. Amazing.

I'm crying

That's an interesting idea. He lets his school get Harbaugh for a few years, then gets first dibs at him back in the NFL.

Only problem with that is you can't really plan to hire someone with the idea that you'll let them go as soon as another coach hints at coming for the NFL.

No disrespect, but how attractive of a job is USCe?
They were the doormat of the SEC before Spurrier

South Carolina a mediocre job.

Their recruiting base is the base for Tennessee, Clemson, & UNC. FSU swings thru the carolinas and cherry picks too.

While I agree, we are talking about Jim Harbaugh here. This guy is fiercely competitive. He almost had a ring with SF and was scapegoated wrongfully by suits. His own damn brother has a Super Bowl ring...That type of **** eats at guys like Harbaugh. He has something to prove and he WILL be back in the NFL.

Stephen Ross is the biggest athletic donor at U of M. If he wanted Harbaugh, then he would've done it this past offseason. He's not going to cherrypick him from Ann Arbor.

Does JH strike you as a guy who is in it for the money? He's even said that he's not worth the amount of money Michigan is paying him. The guy lives and breathes football. He's got more than enough money.

Stephen Ross could "break the bank" in 5 years and be dead 2 years later and JH could be stuck with another douche bag owner like in SF.

That's just **** that NFL honks said to convince themselves JH would never leave the NFL in the first place.

He also has a franchise with his name on it. The mediocre results we see year after year from the Miami Dolphins are a reflection of his competency as an owner. Don't you think that eats at billionaire types like Ross? Don't you think he would do anything in his power to turn things around and put him in the best position possible to hold up that Lombardi?

Don't really care what these honks said. It's easy to say now, when maybe him leaving isn't on the near horizon, but it's gonna happen in the end. Let's see if you dig this up when it really does. I doubt it.
