Dabo Sweeney has banned his players from using any form of social media during the season.

I understand why a coach would want to do this and would want to remove any type of potential distraction... But the reality is that social media has become a part of everyday life in America and really this is just a missed opportunity to teach these young guys how to appropriately use it. Poor off-field coaching IMO

– Was told that Trevor Knight “started” with the first team offense.

– Cody Thomas continued his late week surge and, again, appeared to be the best of the three quarterbacks, according to what I was told. While it wasn’t by a large margin necessarily, Thomas did seem to take the most first team reps.

– Was told that Joe Mixon is scary good. If he’s given any space, you can forget about it because he’s gone.

– A source said the running game looks like it’s going to be really potent. They also said Lincoln Riley doesn’t not seem to shy away from running the ball, at all. It sounds like if they think they can run, they’re going to run. And today the defense didn’t seem to have an answer for the OU run game.

Think we'll definitely get either TCU or Baylor in the playoff

I'm going

OSU (Champion)

TCU

Auburn

Pac 12 team (not Oregon)

Notre Dame hypothetical

Let's say they're at the 4th spot going into conference title game. #5 ranked team plays let's say #9 in the title game and wins. Does that lack of conference title game bump Notre dame out?

Depending on ND's record to that point, if they are not undefeated then yes, I would say #5 gets in. ND's schedule isn't insane in terms of difficulty

Also depends on who #5 is and who #9 is though...
