OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

It's easy to second guess now but wouldn't it have been better to just line up for the punt and try to snap the ball with as close to 1 second on the play clock as possible instead of calling a TO and stoppping the clock?

It was a fluke.

I wasn't cool with calling the Kick-6 in 13 fluke, because I felt that it wasn't fair to Auburn's ST's.  Chris Davis made a great play, and the guys in front of him executed their blocks.  On that play Auburn's ST's outexecuted Bama's ST's.

That's not what happened yesterday though.  MSU didn't block the punt, or return it for a TD.  The LS gave a ****** snap, and O'Neill went full derp mode.
Nah.

All I know is that we were 8.5 underdogs, and Michigan was supposed to "steamroll", "wash", and dominate us, and none of that came close to happening.  Got way too caught up in that Harbaugh hype and had dudes thinking they were invincible

Maybe on here, but the narrative that floated around the media was that "Michigan had been playing a lot better than MSU", and "MSU has been struggling against inferior competition, while Michigan has looked liked a top 5 team".  That we wouldn't be able to score against their defense, and that we had too many injuries to compete.  I feel like most people did not give us a real shot at winning or evening being competitive in the game.

all that was true

Michigan looked good against a suspect BYU team, a Northwestern team that just got drummed my Iowa, and a Maryland team that just fired their coach.  Their defense is good, but the gassimg from the media was unbearable.  Offense is suspect too, with Ruddock at QB.  If we had a soul on our team that could kick a football, we may not need a botched punt snap to win, yesterday.

Well when a defense does something that hasn't been done in 20 years, people tend to take notice. A lot of teams have played schedules that "poor" and didn't pitch 3 straight shutouts.

Michigan looked good against an undefeated Northwestern. And the Iowa team that drummed them is undefeated. Maryland put up 28 on the buckeyes the week after Michigan shut them out.

They didn't play their best game yesterday and suffered what will be considered the worst loss in Michigan football history for likely as long as we all live because of the flukiest ending of all time.

Appalachian St wiped from the memory banks huh?

I'm good. I was over it pretty quickly.

The absurdity of the ending just makes it hard to really dwell on it too much.

Sparties could drop a game before they play the buckeyes, and if Michigan wins out they could still be in it come the Ohio State game.

USC WR Commit Michael Pittman was at #UCLA practice today.

This guy...

That's recruiting for you.

A lot of schools are recruiting him to play D. Sark promised him a receiver spot. With Sark gone who knows what the next coach will want so he's right to look around.

Hope he stays though. He's been balling.

Well yeah, credit to those guys, but they didn't win the game with their play.

Michigan lost because of a fluke play.

Side note Daelin Hayes says he's still a USC fan

I'm glad Michigan isn't going after him because of the injury history, but I do really hope that kid can eventually stay healthy wherever he ends up.  It sucks to see what has happened to him and Matt Falcon

That game went pretty much how I expected it to with exception to the ending. I thought Michigan would win, which they should have, but I thought it would be a nail biter.

Also you want to talk of Michigan arrogance yet your coach is the one skipping out on the post game handshake to be in the stands talking **** to fans?

Lol are you really gonna act like you weren't gifted seven points? Those numb nut refs tried to give it to you twice, and failed. 3rd time was a charm I guess.

I mean if you call getting your defensive captain ejected on a crappy targeting call a gift, then I'd hate to see what you ask for for Christmas.

Idk if this is actually the case but it felt like there was a crazy amount of reviews during that game.
