OFFICIAL 2015-2016 College Football Season Thread

Kyler... :pimp:

But what the hell happened to their defense yesterday? :x Garbage.

Charlie Strong.. :smh:

Y'all keep bringing up 23 penalties but Miami is an undisciplined team, every week they play like that.

You can not justify how bad those acc refs botched that last play, with the amount of penalties.

I get it a lot of y'all are Miami fans, but that was horse **** and it shiuldnt matter who you root for, that was wrong on every front.

It's awesome to see coaches who actually play to their teams strengths.
Coach Mac was great at Colorado State but I didn't see him transitioning this fast. He knows football and how to exploit match ups on Both sides.

I hate that Florida made such a great hire

WSU took the worst hosing from officials in a few seasons last night.

_ Stanford.
Which calls were the bad ones?
Pick 6 overturned after being ruled a touchdown on the play, when the replay evidence wasn't justifiable to overturn. Fumble ruled no fumble on the play, when the review clearly showed it was indeed a fumble, and still not overturned.

They got hosed.

Did you watch the drive before that where duke took the lead? Go back and watch that drive before you say that play was horse **** they gave duke 45 free yards and the QB didn't even cross the goal line.

Can't stop the run

They need some good linebackers so bad
They legit need to go take the 3 best JUCO backers they can find...

It's mind blowing they're that bad in the middle. The defensive line depth is fine. Talent is good. They've got 3 legit really good safeties. Corner isn't miserable.

Linebacker is a complete wasteland.

It was 24-12, with 3 minutes left. Duke's last two "drives" were flag, flag, flag, flag, flag, etc.

We controlled that entire game, til the refs stepped in and tried to steal it.

Then they tried again on the final play.

**** that. Final score shoulda been 24-19. Period.

The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced the suspension of the on-field officiating crew as well as the replay official and communicator following the Miami at Duke game on Saturday, October 31.
The announcement follows the league’s weekly review of game footage, as well as reports and interviews with officials and administrators.
The series of errors during the final play of the game will result in the suspension of the entire crew for two ACC games.
The errors that occurred during the last play of the game are:
* The replay official erred in not overturning the ruling on the field that the Miami player had released the ball prior to his knee being down. If called, this would have ended the game.
* The on-field officials erred by failing to penalize Miami for an illegal block in the back at the Miami 16-yard line. If called, the ball would have been placed at the Miami 8-yard line and the game would have been extended for an untimed down.
* A block in the back foul was called at the Duke 26-yard line. After the officials conferred, which is appropriate, they correctly determined that the block was from the side, which resulted in the flag being picked up. The replay official was not involved in the decision to pick up the flag; however, the referee did not effectively manage communication and properly explain why the flag was picked up.
* In addition, the on-field crew failed to penalize a Miami player for leaving the bench area and entering the field prior to the end of the play. This foul would not have negated the touchdown because it would have been enforced as a dead ball foul.
“The quality of our officiating program is of the highest importance to the league and its schools, and the last play of the game was not handled appropriately,” said ACC Commissioner John Swofford. “Officiating is an extraordinarily difficult job but our players, coaches, programs and fans deserve the best that can be offered. We will continue to strive to meet that standard.”

Is the ACC going to do that for basketball or Pac 12 for football?

Refs also gave Miami a fumble that wasn't a fumble.
Called facemask on Thomas where he didn't grab the facemask.
Called unsportsman like conduct on Coley for nothing.
Called PI on Burns when he played the ball.
Called two questionable PIs on Elder, on the final drive.
Called unnecessary roughness on tackle when they blew the whistle while the tackle was being made .
Then gave Duke a td on which the ball never crossed the goal line.

Not one thing said about dukes drive before that  nothing about the QB not crossing the goal line and them having no TOs left

Y'all are incredulous homers right now.

Dre, my boy Jacques Patrick looking like Young Greg Jones. o My God!

Don't know how to embed video but this is called PI where all he's doing is playing the ball which he has as much right to as the WR.

A top 25 team with one of the best coaches in the country playing a team who jus fired their coach and got blanked 58-0 the week before ..yea they should be ashamed the game was close in the first place

Dudes can't say we washed and then say we shouldn't be happy about the W
