If one of michigan state or Ohio state wins out along with clemson and one of tcu/baylor ... pac 12 and sec gonna have to fight for the last spot to even be in the playoffs .

Who gets it in that scenerio 0.o

For educational purposes only.

I was messing with one of those free sports streaming sites Friday afternoon. The only football game going on at the time was some arena league game, where I noticed something that would be nice to see implemented in the college, (and NFL, I guess) but will never happen.

The conversation between the official and the replay booth was heard over the broadcast. This will never happen because it would further expose the replay booth as the clown show that it is.

@GlassesRef: If we start suspending refs for making the wrong call, what's next? Suspensions for the right call? It's a slippery slope.

He's retired. It's a parody account.

Real glasses ref knows how fans feel about him.

Who are the teams? 12-1 Bama gets in over 12-1 Stanford.  SEC W > Pac 12 N, and Bama has the better L.  If OM ends up winning the SEC, 12-1 Stanford gets the nod.

ND probably gets in if they win out, and OM wins the SEC.

Norm Chow fired as #Hawaii head coach. UH program is a huge mess financially. Hearing a lot about how it might not stay afloat.

my guess is notre dame winning out gets in barring a 12-1 bama/lsu

A no sec team playoff mostly hinges on fsu beating florida and florida pulling a upset in the SEC championship game .
Report: Notre Dame Tutor Forced Student-Athletes to Have “Racially-Motivated” Sex With Her Daughter
The University of Notre Dame has fired a female academic coach, the New York Daily News  reports, after a student filed a lawsuit against the school on Friday claiming that the tutor had coerced several university football and basketball players into having “racially-motivated” sex with her daughter.

An African American student enrolled at Notre Dame on an academic scholarship in the fall of 2014. He sought tutoring lessons in the spring. The (white) tutor immediately “initiated, directed and coordinated a sexually and racially motivated inappropriate and demeaning relationship,” between the student and her daughter.

The tutor would orchestrate “sexually and racially motivated” trysts at hotel rooms between the student and her daughter, the Daily News  reports, and afterwards ask him about the “nature, frequency, and quality of the sexual activities.” Also, the lawsuit claims, the tutor would make “racially-charged comments about his sexual prowess and genitalia.”

From the South Bend Tribune:
The stress of the “hostile sexual environment and degradation” was furthered exacerbated by the woman pressuring the student to convert to Catholicism, according to the suit.

The student claims he brought the situation to the attention of Notre Dame officials two weeks ago, but the university has “failed to act to remedy the situation,” the suit says.
“We were kind of given no choice,” one of the student’s lawyers, Michael Misch, told the Daily News. “When the door was slammed in our face we had to pursue our client’s rights through the courts.”

Notre Dame issued a statement  to the Tribune  on Saturday. “The allegations against the University of Notre Dame in the complaint are unfounded,” university spokesman Paul Browne said. “As are gratuitous and unfounded references to ‘student athletes’—an allegation that is nothing more than a cynical attempt to attract publicity.”

But on Sunday, the Daily News  acquired  a six-page, internal school report that found the academic coach, who has been fired, had violated the university’s “values” and its “discrimination harassment policy.”

The suit also alleges that when the student attempted to break off his relationship with the tutor’s daughter, her mother recommended that he seek mental health counseling, and worked with the university’s psychiatric support to “medicate Plaintiff John Doe to keep him passive, cooperative, and under control.”

:smh:

The state of Hawaii doesn't want to subsidize the school. Some people in legislation believe that none of the coaches should be payed more than a tenured professor.

Basically everyone involved is really dumb.

Have to wonder how many more schools are currently paying people off to keep them quiet because of this and Louisville situation.

look for Snyder to step down and Jim Leavitt to get the Kansas State job...He is the DC at Colorado.
Who knows if it's true. Interesting tho.
Because if you name her, you name her daughter who is also a victim?
Is she a plaintiff in the suit? Haven't read the whole thing
The daughter isn't a plaintiff from what I can tell, but since the suit is alleging sexual misconduct and assault, since it sounds like the mother was coercing and orchestrating the sexual encounters, she's probably also a victim. Add to that, that there's no mention of how old she is and I could see a few reasons why they'd hesitate to name anyone. In general there's a policy of not naming the victims in sexual assault cases/proceedings, and that would be extended to the daughter too, especially if she's a minor. She wouldn't even have to be a "victim" per-say in that situation, it'd just be a bad look to put a minor's name out there in a sex case.

Not saying that's WHY she hasn't been named, but that's one explanation that makes sense. Now if the woman's 60 years old and her daughter's 30, then I have no idea. Fear of retaliation (a la Jameis Winston) and having someone name the students?
