So Apparently Some People Still Don't Know We Exist

It's crazy how some people who don't believe in god will bring him up more than people who actually do

It's a legit question to be asked though. If you want me to believe in heaven and hell and all your religious laws, then tell me how does it apply to primitive tribes?

I don't want you to believe ****

If you don't believe that's your prerogative. But just like bible thumpers, people who constantly bring up religion and religious people to bash them, and cant let a simple thing like "God bless you" slide, y'all are annoying as hell too.

inb4 "I don't believe in hell"

This thread has 0 to do with religion, yet the usual suspects bring something they don't believe up out of nowhere.

Always interesting, I love hearing stories about such tribes but I always forget the name's of which they're classified lol

One tribe I remember having to research had no connection between sex and child birth. Didn't/doesnt even have a word for pregnancy, they believe spirits of the dead choose special people to birth them and the brother of the mother takes care of the child and the mother's family. Dozen's others like it but I'm already tired of typing...

Good thread OP

I wonder what Tropical Yambz be like? :nerd:

Like I wonder if they would look at you like a God if you piping them down like they've never felt before.

Vice versa... what if they know some crazy technique that are way beyond what we can handle.

Yea, I've heard about some areas that are "remote" as in it's hard to access in parts of the Amazon, Asia, and islands. It's good for them though, we all know how Europeans like to come in w/ an olive branch in one hand and a knife in the other. So many colonies, tribes, etc. decimated by "explorers" w/ a complex. I'd love to see how they carry out a day in their lives w/o modern technology, but I'm sure they have methods that are ingenious to us.

I wonder how ingenious they could be. Say they lived on that island for 2000+ years and not one of them came up with the idea of making a boat to explore. Cmon Bruh!

I mean, not every culture is a culture of exploration.

This will sound ignorant so forgive me but, were there any other exploration countries besides Europe or are they just credited more?

Yes, though it's hard to say exactly what u mean by your statement. Europe is a pretty big continent and a lot of people explored before Columbus and what not. Explorers from African and Asian countries had explorers travel to all parts of the globe, which is reflected in a lot of ancient art. They are acknowledged, but not as much as Columbus is for whatever reason.

ideas are created out of necessity so why wouldn't they create a boat or raft? what, because someone hasn't taught them? Who taught people how to make fire or invent the wheel?

I might have to take a trip into the Brazilian jungles and wife me one of those chicks.

Read this piece about a dude who was killed for showing an unknown tribe a picture. They'd never seen anything like it before and I guess he wanted to record their reaction. I'm guessing they felt threatened

the toltecs & olmecs of meso america have artifacts that seem to depict africans...which would support the notion that africans were possibly sailing across the atlantic before southern europeans

Ronda Rousy woulda had to switch up if UFC aint let her in

this is awesome, wrestling/grappling is inherently part of their culture. its so cool that women are also 100% about that life.

to me this implies that women are probably treated better in this small society then modern society. im no anthropologist tho

also - many still support the bering straight theory (that asians migrated to the americas across the bering straight during the ice age or just after when it was solid to cross)

but others believe asians were also sailing across the pacific well before southern europeans were sailing across the atlantic
