SummerSlam is this Sunday from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and it's a 4 hour show this year, PLUS a 1 hour pre-show.  It's actually a huge weekend of wrestling in NYC as Saturday night will be a live NXT Takeover special from the Barclays Center, ROH Field of Honor in Brooklyn, and a Jim Ross One Man Show.  Sunday is SummerSlam, and then Monday is a 3rd night of wrestling as Raw will also be in the Barclays Center.  

The SummerSlam card is pretty much set:
  • Brock Lesnar vs The Undertaker
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs John Cena (c) - Winner Takes All Match for the WWE and US Titles
  • Randy Orton vs Sheamus
  • The Best Buds That Like Their Beer Ice Cold, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper
  • Ryback (c) vs miz vs Big Show - IC Title Match
  • Kevin Owens vs Cesaro
  • Neville and Stephen Amell vs Wade Barrett and Stardust
  • The Prime Time Players (c) vs The New Day vs Los Matadores vs The Lucha Dragons - Tag Team Title Match
  • Divas Revolution Bathroom Break - Team Bad vs Team PCB vs Team Bellas
There are also rumors that The Rock may make an appearance based on comments from Roman Reigns in a recent interview.  I don't know what his role will be if he does show up, but it would likely be to set up a match for WrestleMania 32.

John Stewart has also been announced as the host of SummerSlam.  That's a big get for WWE with all the current buzz around Stewart.

In another big get, ESPN will be covering SummerSlam.  The Coach will be there for live coverage.  This seems like a weird one.  I know ESPN is desperate for ratings, but if they cover this too much or like a real sport, I can see them alienating even more of their viewers.

Tonight for Raw, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker will be in the same building for the first time since their brawl the night after Battleground.  John Cena will also make his return to Raw tonight for the first time since smashing his nose.

Can anyone confirm that Google Chromecast has a Network app or not? I asked a few weeks back; I want to be able to watch the Fest in my living room (bigger t.v and space) as opposed to on my XB1 in my bedroom. If not, how could I go about watching in the living room without having to move the Xbox around?

Big angle between Taker and Lesnar to close the show. Rumor is that Heyman will get Taker to put his career on the line.

Happy Birthday to one of the original job squad members.

WWE Network does not have native Chromecast support, but of course you can cast the Chrome browser from your computer and set the video window to full screen.  Works almost as well as having the built-in support.

You're wrong 99% of the time, so I'm glad this likely won't happen because no one believes Taker's last match will be this Sunday.

Why did you the feel the need to put the results of G1 in the topic?... You ruined the finale for at least 4 of us regular dudes... Who use this thread day in, day out... You constantly ask for things to be put on spoilers, yet chose not to use them yourself
.. Many if us spent 18 days of watching it just to be ruined by yourself... You did the exact same thing for WM31...

Be aware non of us like that... Or cats for that matter...

If the show has already happened and aired on television, I don't see how it is a spoiler, but I will take note from now on.

Can't wait til Raw tonight, had a crazy day at work. Dude took his lunch break at 11:30, he was working on stuff for me, he never clocked back in and nobody could find him. A cop showed up around 3:00 and said he was found dead in his apartment. :smh:
