Jordan 1 Retro OG Pinnacle “Vachetta Tan"

Anyones pair have black marks on them? First pair I bought had a bunch of black marks, luckily I was able to exchange my pair for a better one.

they are, at least for me anyway. im a true 10.5 as all my 1s are 10.5, even this year's chicago's, but i got a 10.5 in these and they run pretty big. i have to wear either thick socks with these or i gotta lace them dumb tight to prevent my foot sliding around.
Tried 11 and 10.5 at the store, I also wear my broken in FF1 specifically for comparison. I am size 11 in all 1s I have, these fit big. The 10.5 pair fits exactly like my size 11 FF1.
Very happy with the quality of these pinnacle's.

Still sad can't get a pair. Cmon NDC.
just call or email some Tier zero boutiques.  i'm sure they are sitting at most of them, as alot of people didnt like the price

try Wish ATL, KITH, The Social Status (Charlotte), Extra Butter, Shoe Gallery Miami (INFO@shoegallerymiami.com), Blends

I want these so bad, but I can't see myself dropping retail plus tax. Will cop if NDC decides to release them.

I got mines at flight 23 like a few days ago and I got a 11.5 since they didn't have a 12 and it fit perfect. So amazing in person View media item 1736986
Quick pic not good quality.

more and more i look at these the more and more I feel like i need to have em :smh:

Yup half size down and you will be fine! The inside of the shoe has not so much cushion because of the vachetta leather, this gives some extra room (I am a wide footer but still can go half size down).

Alright. I'll do it and hit you up @spoonmanofthehour

I did it on my Bred 1s and they look 'fresh out the factory'

It's been mentioned by others, but there are so many scratches and little marks on the vachetta leather

I figured it'd be OK to oil these up with some treatment before rocking.

Expect a before & after picture soon.
Where are the before & after pics??!

Keen to see this!

@spoonmanofthehour

Thanks for your reminder.

I posted the shoes straight out the box couple pages back and these are under the same lighting/condition, unfiltered.

The one in the front without laces is the "after" treatment (two hours after),

and the one without any treatment is on the back with laces.

If you've got hawk eyes, you may be able to tell the shade of tan is slightly darker in the front.

Aesthetically, the stitchings and the 'Wings' logo became more clear and evident, if I may.

Overall, a few days after the treatment, the leather has turned lighter, same shade of tan as purchased.

When first applied, I immediately went "uh oh" cause the light shade of tan quickly became light brown (like it touched water).

But now I've done it to both pair and I'm really glad I still kept this stuff lying around.

Basically I had these Carat stuff for soccer boots and they've never gone bad so I use it occasionally

on dress shoes and boots, and only recently started applying them on Js.

In terms of feel of the leather, there were major changes.

Before treatment, the leather felt dry, vulnerable and textured.

But after, they felt smoother and less textured, which made me apply the treatment on the other pair.

Will keep others posted with more wear/on feet pic.

Thanks for reading!

Mine get delivered today from Kith. All my other retro 1s are sz 9 so I was on the fence about taking the only 8.5 they had. I really wanted a 9 (maybe OCD issue?!) These comments make me feel better about my decision on how they run big tho.

I know people complaining about $400 retail but personally I've unfortunately had to buy SBB 1s, Bred 1s, and Royals 1s  all for resale so $400 didn't seem unreasonable....

They do feel just a tad bit more spacious than other 1's I have (2013 breds, sb qs, NY 23's) They dont however feel as spacious or loose as my shattereds. Could be the softer leather on the sbb's. I like the thick, sturdy leather on the Vachettas. Offers a steady almost boot like feel. I know some decided to size down, but i went true to size and dont regret it. Just depends on how you like your shoes to fit. I did have to think twice about the $400 but also dont regret that. All the details from the box down to the bag are a nice touch. Whether all these things justify a $400 price tag, i dont know.

These still sit in many sizes here at HoH and almost everyday I am thinking to myself if I should cop or not...
Might regret not copping later on once they sold out
