If you could play any position for any team in any sport, what would it be?

For me, I would go with:

Starting Pitcher for the Oakland Athletics

- baseball players on average make the most $$$ (especially SP's), and you only have to work once every 5 games - and you are in complete control of the game while you are out there. Not to mention there is less of a chance of major injury (ACLs, concussions, broken neck, etc.)

My second choice would be a Pro Golfer on the PGA Tour because golf is fun and seems like it would be super chill and sweet to travel all around the world and play the nicest courses.

How about you bros?

I would be a goalie in soccer/football/futball/w.e. the hell you guys say

Also a designated hitter in baseball

Long term financially speaking: knuckle ball pitcher

You can easily do it for 20+ years with not a lot of wear and tear on your body and you'll make bank if you're a quality starting pitcher

Favorite game/position: single high free safety.. Played DB in high school and loved when I would slide to safety on long down situation and got the opportunity to read and react in coverage and get my Ed reed on

Also would love to be a point guard in ball.. Jason Kidd type game, with a better shot.. Or Steve Nash on the Suns, but with better defense

first choice: center for the Boston Bruins
second choice: right wing for the Boston Bruins
third choice: left wing for the Boston Bruins

hockey players > *

A long snapper or punter are great options in terms of long term stability

But being a defensive end/ outside linebacker is the coolest position to me :smokin

The last thing i would want to be is pitcher and catcher(played in high school and some games in college). Pitchers i feel as if there arm always hurt or will hurt down the line.

I would love to be a WR for the eagles and/or CB. I would still be better than the bums they had last yr.

back up QB has to be the best job in sports.  dont have to play most of the time and when u do u can just ball out with little pressure since not much is expected from u

i also would love to be the closing pitcher getting the final out of the world series.

Team sport dream position is a goalie for the Penguins

Safe bet and most realistic is the Steelers punter

Coolest would be a professional golfer :pimp:

That way I can be considered an "athlete" and get paid a lot of money. Win win.

Ches...he's vegetarian, believe it or not. no idea how he still weighs in at a cool half a ton or so

Starting point guard for any NBA team with a great fan base, not necessarily the big markets ie lakers, knicks, etc.

If it was a sport I never played I think being a forward in soccer would be dope

I think being a starter allows you to dominate a team sport like no other. No matter how good the other team is, you throw a complete game shutout, you're the man.

Me though, attacking midfield for Chelsea. Number 10 role. You can rule the world as a soccer player.
