NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

Biggest reach of the draft so far?
Biggest steal of the draft so far?

honestly I don't think any player was a reach other than maybe Isiah Thomas.

Were pulling from such a giant pool of talent it's mostly in the eye of the beholder.

I think guys like Wes Unseld and Bob Lanier's legacies suffer from the fact that C is the deepest most impactful position in the overall history of baketball and they are probably in the top 10-15 Centres of all time.

So they tend to get forgotten evn when they are better than guys at other positions.

Biggest steal of the draft so far[/quote]Biggest steal: Stockton early 2nd or Walton early 3rd.

Biggest reach: DMC, in any round

I don't think they're are too many reaches, even on some "reaches", odds are they would have been picked within that round anyway.

Kobe Bryant was asked who the toughest player for him to guard in the Western Conference on the John Thompson Show the other day. This was Kobe's response: “Roy 365 days, seven days a week. Roy has no weaknesses in his game.” - 2010

If I could change the career of any NBA player it would be Brandon Roy. I loved watching that guy play man.

Biggest reach so far is definitely Hakeem. There isnt even a close second IMO.

Biggest steal so far is Elgin Baylor at 37. May argue he is a top 15 player of all time and he went 37th. Steal.

Yall so mad... :pimp:
