What was that wink for? You really would?[/quote] Scratch that. I'm an idiot. You had the #5 and picked Kobe. That's how the GLOAT was available for Pro.

Nah if I had picks #1-3 I would have taken Magic. And I did actually take the GLOAT at 5

Wow. Was really hoping Bosh would make it back to me. A big who can defend the pick and roll, space the floor out to the three point line, score down in the post when he needs to, and doesn't necessarily need to be the focal point of the offense.

What are yall talking about? Admiral was known for getting bodied by Dream in the playoffs.

Honestly dont have too much an issue with Hakeem being first center taken. Russell is obviously the GOAT center but he was like 6'9 and his game probably wouldnt have translated as well in the modern era. Although he still would probably be very good, I don't think he would be able to handle 7 foot Hakeem and his wide array of post moves, quick feet, and excellent defensive game.

Wilt wasnt a winner and dominated more than he should have because of his era. Kareem was probably better but wasnt as athletic and could never change the game defensively like Dream did.

Shaq was a ******* monster but it depends what team you are trying to run. If you are trying to get up and down the court, Hakeem is better for that, and he was a much better defender than Shaq was. Hakeem wasnt as physically dominating as Shaq down low but was still one of the all-time greats offensively in the post because of his agility.

So in this kind of tournament where you are trying to assemble the best possible team, not make an all-time rankings list, I don't really have an issue with Hakeem being the first center taken. He might have the best all around game, you can use him in many different styles of play because of his athleticism and his post skills, he is one of the greatest defensive centers of all time, and you know his game translates to the modern era.

However, I still wouldnt have touched Hakeem (or any center really) in the top 5.

Where is the updated board? I been out awhile.

I'll update the board, teams, and title in about an hour. Updating my spreadsheet now. (Just got in)

Ecook takes SF Dave DeBusschere

Had a very interesting career, youngest coach in history while being player-coach for the Pistons.

Part of those great Knicks squads in the early 70's, won 2 rings and pitched in the MLB which is crazy

Bosh is a great glue guy for this kind of draft... especially since he showed he doesn't have to be the man on the team

Osh selects SF Andrei Kirilenko.

Knew it was coming, damn. :smh:

My defense woulda been crazy with him + my other pick but now I gotta switch up.

Prime AK47 one of the most versatile forwards to play.

15/8/4/2/4 on 50% shooting while guarding multiple positions? Beast.

i'll bet 150 awwsome is getting upset at everyone questioning his strategy.
Never that, this all for fun and debate at the end of the day.

Nobody with really sound basketball knowledge is questioning my picks anyway, if seamanup doesn't agree with me then I know I'm on the right track.
i have become the deciding factor on good and bad teams

dont worry guys i will be responsible with this power

Just like the other redraft... I hate how as soon as I find a guy I'm excited about, I suddenly realize there's no way he makes it all the way back to me

DeBuss, English, and Havlicek all are primarily SF's, is this the alignment you want, or what're we doin here?

SoHi

SG Manu Ginobili
SF Rick Barry
PF Kevin Durant

Barry is a SG, so is Manu, are you sliding Durant down, or what is your plan here?

I need to know if/when a player needs to slot somewhere else in mind from what their primary spot was.
