Sorry, it's true. Until Clyde Drexler came and carried him to a couple championships, he was the taller version of Chris Paul. Advanced stat guys just fapping away to his highlights.

Almost only counts in horse shoes and grenades. What 5s is he or did he defend in his era, Shaq? Dream? Robinson? Ewing? I think that's nostalgia and not reality talking.

Like Hakeem didn't destroy the best defender in his time David Robinson in the playoffs.
Like anybody else has won rings without HOF talent around them.
Bird/Jordan/Magic/Kareem all played with HOF Talent.
Hakeem had Sampson for his first couple years, what did he do?
Put up 26/12/2/2/4 on 53% shooting in his second year while taking them to the conference finals.
I'm sorry that he couldn't win rings playing with Rodney McCray, Sleepy Floyd, Joe Barry Carroll, Robert Reid and Joe Peterson while every other superstar played on loaded teams.
What a surprise he wins two rings when he actually plays with more talent.
