NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

I wanted a defender who can also hit the 3... and who also doesn't need the ball considering he'll be sharing the back court with Russy.

While he doesn't have an absurd prime like others, his 2000 season was 20 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.7 steals, while hitting 37% from downtown. The ideal role player for my team.

Eddie Jones, SG.

GREAT PICK!

wonder if cp will pick who I think he will pick

:nthat: REPPED :pimp:

I could have gone a couple different directions, but I'm happy with the team I have now. If I was thinking peak > longevity, I would have made a couple different choices I think.

Russell Westbrook

Eddie Jones

Paul Pierce

Amare Stoudemire

Tim Duncan

Russ and Amare give me my freak athletes and dynamic scoring option. They can get out and run with the best of them. PP gives me my scoring threat from the outside and can hang with most of the SFs out there. The offense can run through Big Timmy, and he can either score himself or pass it out to Pierce or Eddie Jones for a 3, or hit a flashing Amare/Russ to the hoop, or even play a 2 man game with Amare.

Eddie is my role player who doesn't need the ball but can be my best perimeter defender and hit the 3. There were a few guys I really wanted, but thought I could still find someone decent in round 5 like Jones. Duncan is an all-time defender, Jones can be my perimeter guy, Russ is a gambler but he'll still be good for a few stops, Pierce isn't a great defender and Amare definitely has his weaknesses, but they won't have to be all-world since I've got Tim protecting the rim. And I still have my bench.

I've got some elite athletes, 3 point shooters, a couple of great defenders on the perimeter and inside, and enough balance offensively.

Lemme get PF LaMarcus Aldridge

I KNEW HE WOULDN'T GET BACK TO ME

Fit wise, I wanted Rasheed on my squad. I have a very high opinion of Sheed, almost unhealthy, so I was crushed when that cripple Mike took him.

But LMA gives me at least 80% of what I wanted out of Sheed.

Ironically, this morning, I came up with a possible scenario of sliding Bird to PF, and taking on Paul George. Then, Allen.

It would be SO much easier to build my perfect squad without the rest of you a holes.

Bruh you called Mike a cripple

Should have went Panties then D-Will looking back on it now

My PF list was Rodman, Sheed, thought about two players who haven't been picked yet, & Aldridge.

I REALLY REALLY WANTED RODMAN. So much so I almost picked him in rounds 2 & 3, but I was praying he would slide to the 4th.
