NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

JJ's were just messing around bro. No ones really tripping if anything were all happy

I feel like I'm on trial here...

Paul George, Eddie Jones, Dale Ellis, Wiggins, Sheed etc. etc....

You have picks that probably need to be defended on EVERY team. However, if the GM feels like it's the right move based off of how the team is constructed, then who's to say they're wrong?

I wanted Love too.

It was between him and Amare. Love's numbers his last year in Minny were absurd.

A ton of 3s, good passing, elote rebounding, yup.

I didn't necessarily want him at first because I wasn't huge on having 2 non-defenders in my starting 5. But then he kept falling and falling and falling... and the guy just averaged 26 & 12 and shot 38% from 3 on over 6 attempts a game. I had to double check to see if he was still available. I think kinda like Melo, this wouldn't have happened if this draft happened a year ago.

Then let me just be a **** and select another guy who is much better than Antawn Jamison...

I couldn't get Artest so let me grab the best guy on a team that I feel would have been the '05 champs if not for something that happened in Auburn Hills

Timmy Hardaway
George Gervin
Shawn Marion
Jermaine O'Neal
Moses Malone

Love my squad for the most part, lots of positional flexibility and feel like I can really play any style with the guys I have right now. Most likely will move Jermaine to the bench though.

Yup to all of that. I always say that the Pacers were pretty much poised to win the 05 Finals. That team was ******* nasty, fresh off finishing the 04 season with the best record in the NBA before being upset by Detroit. And always lost in that whole Palace fiasco is the fact that before the fight broke out, Indiana was finishing up blowing out the defending Champion Pistons on their home floor.

Artest was playing the best basketball of his career and JO was a legit MVP candidate... If Ron wasnt one himself even. He honestly could have been if he would have kept up the pace he was playing at. He was averaging 25 a game on 50% shooting at the time while also doubling as the best perimeter defender in the NBA. That team was the ******* truth.. You're squad is looking VERY nice with that JO steal.

Gotta feel kinda bad for Donnie Walsh. That team was his finest work during his long tenure as an NBA executive, and the fight ****** it all up.

Then he did a great job bringing the Knicks out of the gutter and back to respectability, before Dolan broke his "full autonomy" promise and stepped in to give Massai Uriji everything he wanted for Melo and more, despite holding the leverage, and Walsh left once he saw the writing on the walls. And then Amare's career went into free fall as well.

But 2 extremely promising jobs well done by Donnie both hit with some serious bad luck. 3, if you include his 90s Pacers teams simply being built in the wrong era, like every other ******* team during that period besides the Bulls... But I guess that is what you get for assembling an NBA team full of *******s and trusting James Dolan.

At the same time it must also ******* suck to be a Pacers fan.

I mean, Reggie got no title because of the 90s. Then they build up the best team in the NBA, who were also young, and the Palace incident ***** up possibly multiple attempts at winning a championship. Then even in recent years they were looking ready to top the Heat after taking them to 7 in the 2013 playoffs and playing like a serious title contender for most of the 2013-2014 season before Hibbert inexplicably fell off the map, Lance finally turned into the player we all expected him to be, and then they eventually lose handidly and to top it all off Paul George breaks his leg in half.

**** must be rough but **** the Pacers and their fans. Even if I did like them I still cant sympathize with any other NBA fanbase because nothing is worse than what we got in NY.

Sorry for turning that into a rant... Nice pick @worldbeefreeg
