NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

Draymond Green, SF/PF.

undersized, but I wanted defense and 3 point shooting. He gives me both and more lineup versatility. Probably a bit of a reach at this point, but a high intensity/energy defender who can play multiple positions and his the 3 at 33%... which isn't great but enough to keep defenses from leaving him wide open.

There were other guys that gave me 3's but no D.. or defense but no shooting, so I tried to compromise... plus as usual, some guys were nabbed right before me like Johnson.

This was the guy I was referring to when looking at the WS/48 numbers on he and Anthony Mason. Very similar numbers, except Draymond developed a decent 3 point shot. I kinda wondered if Mason played today would he have been able to be a decent outside shooter similar to Draymond. He only took 12 3's for his career, but I think eventually he would've adapted to shooting the 3 ball in today's game if needed. His FT release, though :x

Draymond isn't a reach at all, he's already an elite versatile defender, his offense won't kill you, really good playmaker with a high IQ.

I was going to go with him if somehow he came to me with a PG.

Defense off the bench with Joakim woulda been :smh:.

Steve Smith is pretty underrated not a good defender but an awesome secondary ball handler, great decision maker with solid 3 point shooting.

Really an ideal secondary ball handler or lead ball handler for bench units.

Senor owes me one on that one, I had him targeted, but once he sent me a PM that he wanted him, I passed so we could have his pick in hand.

I'll be just fine with Daugherty.

Dikembe +
He's got no body of work. Should've picked someone born before the Great Depression hit.

Also should look at guys who served in WWII for that old era toughness.
fax are those guys were the best players of their eras. can't say the same about some of these other cats.

I was going to draft Andre's great grandfather, Phineas Drummond

View media item 1695620
but decided that his great grandson is a better fit for my team
