This is actually a very valid point. However, it was such a terrible pick, I think people are genuinely ok with it.

Bogut is one of the best defensive players in the league (in limited minutes) and was better on offense before he snapped his arm. There's nothing wrong with taking someone who put up 16 & 10 with elite defense in the 8th round as a big man off the bench.
