I'll put it into my calendar now. Let me know which night works better. Down for westside or DTLA, I'm like 10 blocks from the promenade lol.

Couple of notes after a quick glance of the teams, yall can take it or leave it but just figured I should point it out because IMO it improves each of these teams without altering the draft or unfairly helping:

@Bigmike23  IMO you shoudl move Sheed to center and start DC or Kucoc in place of Nerlens. Sheed is a capable rim protector/post defender and it would make your offense all the more dangerous. I would say maybe Kucoc because he makes your entire starting lineup shooting threats and he can also play point forward allowing Bing to play off the ball some, but Kucoc was always better as a 6th man anyway and you might be a little weak defensively with him and Sheed starting in the frontcourt. But I definitely think Coleman deserves a starting gig over Nerlens. Only thing Nerlens maybe does better than DC is block shots but DC still gave you around 2 blocks a night in his prime.

@worldbeefreeg  Gervin and Marion should probably be switched. Iceman to the 3 and Marion to the 4. Or JO at the 4 and Marion at the 3. I dont think Iceman was a 4, especially with Matrix/JO, both of whom were natural 4s in their prime.

@Osh Kosh Bosh  T-Mac and AK47 should switch. T-Mac at the 2 and Kirlenko at the 3. I think I saw that when you posted your team but on the list that CP just posted it was reversed.

@Ecook0808  Havilcek and Debuscherre should switch. Hondo played the 3 for the Celtics while Debuscherre was starting 4 for the Knicks championship squads. Sidenote: funny to see a Debuscherre/Walt Bellamy frontcourt since trading Walt Bellamy to the Pistons for Debuscherre was the greatest trade in Knicks history and one of the most savvy trades in NBA history.

Even with those suggestions (and thats all they are dont take it personally if I called you out I might have helped you noticed something you didnt or you might disagree with me) the teams look nice. I got a couple squads in mind, got a do a little bit of research before making a final call.

I know I was lawling when I picked Bellamy.

Hondo played a lot of 4, and DeBuss was the better shooter from distance it seems...

But ur the judge so if that helps. My team ain't winning anyways since most don't even know who the dudes are.

Bet. May just do Westside, DTWN was piss poor this past weekend.

So like everyone else @awwsome completely ****** my board up by taking Keem first, bastard  . But this was because I had planned to take him with the #4 pick with the hope that everyone would go for all of the 50 Greats of All Time list and I would be able to snatch KD in the 2nd and Ant Davis during the turn around in the 3rd... We see how quickly that went to **** :smh: However I really wanted to create a squad that was extremely versatile that allowed me to play small or big without compromising shooting, passing or my ability to defend.

C: Bill Walton/Bill Laimbeer
PF: David West/Bargs
SF: Crown/Tayshawn Prince/Chuck Persons
SG: Vince/RIP/Vinny the Microwave Johnson
PG: John Wall/Sam Cassell

Round1
LeBron James: With Keem & MJ off the board I was in a quandary between who to pick between two of my all time favorites and the two #1's at their position in Bron and Magic. I literally sat there and thought about flipping a coin. At the end of the day I went with Bron because he gives me more versatility on both sides of the ball. The ability to dominate on the defensive and offensive end was just too much to pass up, arguably one of 4 players in history that fits that mode along with Keem, MJ, & Wilt. Can play 1-4 and be great at each position in route to 28, 8 & 8 while being a lock down perimeter defender and ball hawk... Yeah

Round 2
Vince Carter: With Bron being the center of the squad I wanted to fill out my squad with athletic players who could attack from multiple spots on the floor, play fast, and unselfishly. IMO the list of elite SG's is fairly slim therefore picking Vince 2nd made sense to me. At his apex not only was he the most exciting player on the court, he could also get you 25-27 pts, 5 rebs, with 4 ast per contest. He was an UNC graduation away from hitting the shot that would've robbed us over A.I.'s step over. He also gives me a player that can slide to either the 2 or 3 and be effective which allows me to shift my line up up or down.

Round 3
Bill Walton: Before his injury, he was as special as a big could be, elite scoring, defending, and passing; During his seaons at full strength he won an MVP, and a chip, while being the MVP of that chip. I honestly couldn't believe he lasted that long.

Round 4
John Wall: As I was looking at the pg position looking at my teams make up I have two players that are ball dominant so I needed a PG that wanted to pass the ball, LOVED TO PASS THE BALL. I would have loved to have Kidd at the helm, but Wall is a great fit as well. Coming into his own he appears to be a player who will be able to get me 20pts and 10ast per game... He plays defense, pushes the ball, loves to pass, and wants to win. He gives me 3 great passers in my starting 5.

Round 5
Bill Laimbeer: This pick was really a reach. I'll be honest, I really wanted Rodman and in my heart of hearts I knew he was going to fall to me. Then I wanted LaMarcus here but CP took him in the round prior. I honestly should've taken Serge here, he would've fulfilled every need but I totally spazzed and forgot about him. But Laimbeer was a player that fit my defensive needs, a good passer, and could space the floor shooting out to 23 feet. He would be my enforcer/troll that change the game and unnerve opposing greats.

Bench selections: Sam Cassell was Mr. Big Shot before Chauncey was given the moniker. Successfully led the resurgence of two franchise in Milwaukee and Minny while being the glue and a flat out killer. RIP in his hay day I can only think of one player who ran off screens better than him in the history of the game. Mastered the art of the mid range and was a damn good spot up shooter while being a very good defender. Tayshawn my glue guy off the bench, his versatility would allow me to bring him in to play Bron at the 4 or run a big wing line up. His ability to play on the perimeter, handle the ball, play in the post, facilitate, and defend make him incredibly valuable. David West gives me that Bully on the block that I need and he can also stretch it out 22. Bargs is a 7 footer with 25ft range, they don't come around that often. Chuck Person gives me that knock down shooter with size to space the floor for Bron, Vince, Wall, Walton, or West. Vinny is just instant buckets off the bench, he was honestly someone I considered taking for previous 4 rounds and I couldn't believe that he was still there.

At the end of the day my team is extremely versatile with very little liability, especially on the defensively end (Vince is the only ehh defender but he has the ability to be good and with all the defenders he's surrounded with his deficiencies will be masked and he will raise his game playing with Bron)

I love the fact that I can play a line up of:

Wall, Tayshawn, Bron, Laimbeer, & Walton to lock down

or

Cassell, Vince, Persons, Tayshawn, & Bargs for a 3 point need

or

Wall, Vince, Tayshawn, Bron, & Walton for athleticism

The line ups and balance are just endless and for the most part everyone can play with everyone while contributing to their skill sets instead of diminishing them.

:pimp:

Would love to see a list of "free agents" once this draft concludes. I feel as though we glossed over some obvious gems.

Props, CP, for putting this all together. Had a great time participating.

What's being asked of the judges?

I've sat here and picked apart the teams... playing with rotations, late game close scores, 2nd units... and got mine down to 10.

Do we just PM you?

I'm'a PM you.

Is a top 10 pointless? Do you just want a top 3 or something? Or is 3 even too much and you just want 1?

I know my top team.

I'd say list as many as you can for your Top 5, 10, whatever. If you feel like judging and ranking 10, then go for it.
