You right, I just saw that.

He hasn't been online in almost 6 hours, so hopefully he knows to check in soon. I don't really want to autopick, especially this early, because there's no real board we're goin off of.

Ches has his pick in hand, I'm ready with mine, Big J should pull thru, and I can get hold of Allen pretty quick, so once we get hold of him, multiple picks will jump and we'll be on our way.

How about instead of auto picking just skipping him until he comes back?

Penalty is small, you just pick from whose available when you return.

That "small penalty" could actually turn into 5-8-12-15 picks and might even get all the way back to his 3rd round pick. That's not all that small.

If it was round 10-11, yeah what the hell, but round 2? I want him to have a little bit of a leash here, especially since I know the picks that follow are fairly set, and will move quickly.

Hopefully he'll check in soon.

I made that Stockton pick last night and tucked away, but thanks to those who showed some love.

IMO, it's Magic > Isiah > Stockton as far as all time PG's go. I read the post where homie said Steph Curry at his peak now is better than Stockton ever was, and that point is well received, but personally, I'd take Stockton's overall body of work any day over a few really good years from Steph. Just my .02.

Stockton from '89 to '91 was just :smh:

Having a lot of fun following along with you guys in here :smokin

Call me crazy, but I think Stockton is the second best shooting PG of all time.

And I have Nash first.

Steph might just end up being the best scoring PG. Very versatile. But I got Stock and Nash over him IMO :nerd:.

And their court vision and creation for others >>>> Steph.

Steph may end up being overall better, but that's to be determined still.

I get that argument, but I feel that for this system to work you have to look at it as which team would win in a tournament. When trying to assess that you have to look at how the players would work together in addition to their overall talent.

Which is why I think it makes sense to choose one individual season for each player in order to make it easier to assess. So many players change and evolve their game over time. It makes sense to choose one particular season in which you are choosing your player for your team.

How would Stockton's overall body of work be relevant if all these teams were to duke it out in a single tournament? IMO it's gotta be peak seasons.

Like obviously you would take Stockton's body of work over Steph, but whether or not you would take any single Stockton season over 2015 Steph Curry is another argument entirely that I think is more relevant for this thread.

Um, I wouldn't diminish Curry's ability to use his court vision to make passes. I'd say he's right on par with Nash and Stock. Probably even better than Stock.

I have no problem calling Stockton one of the best shooting PG's. Its just that both he and Nash were not assertive enough when it came to shooting it enough times. Just wasn't in their game. Curry is shooting their percentages on many more shots
