NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

And if you think that's a long rant by GR8,you haven't spent enough time in the Knicks thread. That's like the opening paragraph of his normal speeches

It's impressive.
 exactly

And the whole thing wasnt a joke. Everything I said about Starks I truly meant. Just the part where I told Big J and JRS "**** you" was sarcastic.

Id never seriously tell anyone to go **** themseleves on NT. talking **** on the internet is corny as hell and definitely not my style. If I actually was mad at someone I would probably rant and/or troll them but I'd never say something like that seriously even if I was mad at someone.

But I wasnt actually mad at JRS and Big J for disagreeing with me. I respect both of their opinions wholeheartedly and have known both of them for years on NT. They both are 2 of my favorites on NT and me telling them to **** themselves was pure sarcasm... I definitely should have thought about it a little more before I said it though. And for that I once again sincerely apologize.

... But yeah that rant was nothing for me. I typed that **** up in 5 mins.

PG Lenny Wilkens
SG Pete Maravich
SF Larry Johnson
PF Dave Cowens
C Patrick Ewing
B Paul Arizin
B Mark Jackson
B Del Curry
B Austin Carr

Lenny Wilkens - solid point guard, lefty, high IQ. good fit next to the sideshow that was Pistol Pete.

Pistol Pete - took him over Walt Clyde mostly because of the way he played. Clyde's the better all around player, but I've always had an affinity for Pistol's game. He was basically Steve Nash before Steve Nash. Ton of flare, brought a level of flashiness and excitement to the NBA that didn't exist at the time. Put up some disgusting numbers in college.

Larry Johnson - solid player before the injuries. Plenty of versatility at the 3 and 4. Good outside shooter, good enough ball handler, solid rebounder. Could've been a really special player if his back never got in the way of things.

Dave Cowens - really liked his ability to pass the ball as a big man. Wanted someone at the 4/5 who could be unselfish and hit the open man, someone who could find cutters, etc.

Patrick Ewing - took him over The Admiral, mostly because of me being a Knicks fan. Ewing was a great player though. Solid shooter for his size, can score on the block and in the mid-range. Good defender and rebounder. Always played with a ton of heart.

Paul Arizin - one of the best scorers of his time. Don't really care if he was born before CP, didn't matter to me. I was all about honoring guys who were at the top of their generation and he was definitely a force during his era.

Mark Jackson - really wanted Mullin or Artest to represent St. John's but I'll settle for Jackson. Very good distributor, solid IQ, high character guy.

Dell Curry - without him, the man crush y'all have for Steph wouldn't be possible. Papa Curry was an excellent shooter in his own right with a sweet stroke.

Austin Carr - could've been a superstar before the injuries. Had a great knack as a scorer early in his career, just never had the chance to be the dominant force he should have been. Well worth it taking Carr and utilizing him at his peak.

Sorry for the delay fellas. Here's my pick:
