Still not an MD. But can prescribe medicine with his MSN
Exactly what he said. Must be approved by a doctor. so no a phycologiat cannot prescribe medications. There is an ongoing battle to allow them to do so but no break throughs yet.

Because he studied medicine he could prescribe them
if he was just a phycologist he could not. Phycologist do not attend medical school therefore cannot prescribe medications with just that degree.
