DOW JONES DOWN 1000 POINTS......what does this mean?????

It means it's worth 1000 points less than it was when the market opened.

If you're brave, buy now. You'll get a 10% better value on stocks vs last week when the market goes back up.

Remember 2008? It only took 5 years to recover from a 50% drop and come out ahead. Play the long term

Is it a sign of bad things to come or nah economically
It could be, it could not be. We're on a pretty long run of a Bull Market. 3rd longest if I remember correctly.

If you don't need the money any time soon, ride it out. Nothing worse than jumping in and out based on short term trends.

Stop watching the news and live your life. The economy will happen. Be well capitalized and you'll be able to weather any storm. Cash is ALWAYS king.

A correction just means that you'll be able to buy assets when they're on sale while everyone else is freaking out.

Im asking about what can should i do to take advantage of the current market. I assume the DOW being down = i can cop stocks at rare lows, and see profts since things will eventually rebound?

i can't wait till every rally starts getting sold. this isn't even anything honestly in the grand scheme of things.

It'll be back. It always comes back.

this. hold for the long term. whether it takes a month or a couple yrs, it'll bounce back. wish i had cash to invest in some more
what happens if the market goes much lower? never use all your capital at once. we're down what 7% from the highs after being straight up for 4 years? there's significant more downside potentially. use the opportunity to trade the action, but always have cash on the sideline for a real sell off.

Hopefully the cost of rent goes down in the SF Bay Area.

Who am I kidding. It won't.
