The NBA Draft Thread

It's going to be sad watching the Knicks ruin the start of DSJr's career by forcing him to play a system that he's not built to play

And somehow someway I need Dwayne Bacon to the Nuggets in the 2nd. Our defense is atrocious.

Bradley is the better defender & Frank is the better playmaker imo.

I like the George Hill comps. Probably won't ever be a star but there's no reason he can't be a 3 & D player in the league for a long time.

Pistons shoulda learned after GM Doc not to let Stan be the GM :smh: ...hard to do 2 things like coaching and setting up the roster at the same time on a high level

Here is an interesting comment I found in Bleacherreport:

"Call me crazy but would the Sixers consider trading the third pick to the Wolves for Zach Lavine and the sixth pick? Lavine is expected to recover and gives them someone to space the floor. Then they can take the best player available at six. The Wolves get Josh Jackson which gives them a wing defender with an aggressive mentality and a huge upside. It also frees the Wolves financially to sign Towns and Wiggins."

I'd imagine the Sixers to add another piece but that's intriguing...

Is Donovan Mitchell gonna be a stout defender? Undersized no doubt. Could be somewhat of an Avery Bradley on that side of the ball

Also at #12 you're really just beginning the part of the draft that's a crap shoot

I have no opinion on John Collins but I'm assuming he'll be on the board

Like I said the first center I'm taking is Ike, and hell if a team is thinking of taking a center at the end of the lottery Ike might be the pick. I wouldn't even be mad if he went that early

Wolves want josh and Wiggins together? Idk if that works but it'd be interesting

wouldn't work

also wouldnt trade lavine plus my pick if i were the wolves just for the #3.

If I'm the Wolves I wouldn't do it. Don't feel like Wiggins and Josh would fit well. Draft Jonathan Isaac and you're set.

Let's trade our best shooter... Makes sense

And like ball said Zach and 6 to move to 3 no thanks.

DSJ actually looks like he cares about winning Reggie just be out there sometimes chucking
Smith is stronger and more athletic, finishes better at the rim, worse shooter, better defensive potential. Can see him being a leader too, don't really get that from Reggie.

The Wolves would be high to pair Wiggins and Jackson instead of keeping Lavine.
