The NBA Draft Thread

I'm liking this Nance over Randle consensus that's building in here :pimp:. Yes, let's keep it going.

The Dlo slander consensus will come soon enough. I'm here for it :pimp:

And after watching Russell a little last year and in summer league..I see a little Reggie Jackson in his game.

The way they attack the P&R is very similar. Dlo will be a Reggie Jackson level player at best. I see it [emoji]128527[/emoji].

What does Randle do better than Nance? Julius gets tunnel vision and thinks he's a star. Nance understands his role and does it damn good.

Randle disappointed me last year but I also consider it was virtually his first season. Plus Scott had him in the doghouse. This year will tell me more

.
Battles a bit more
Absorbs contact on the drive quite well

I mean randle was a lottery pick after all

Nance compliment this starting rotation really well
If he can stretch his range dude could easily take away prime minutes from randle (4th quarter)

Ingram's lack of strength really showed last night, IMO...Until he bulks up a bit, he's going to have a tough time getting by defenders. Jerami Grant was giving him issues.

yea it def showed up last night...i told my homies before the game started if he gives Grant buckets i will be very very impressed. Laker fans have to give this dude time bc he gotta adjust. he struggled out the gates at Duke.

Grant was a good defender in the regular season period, going to give Ingram a pass for not doing well against him in his second pro game.

Nance is better off getting minutes at the 5.

He has a 9' standing reach with a 37 inch vertical, he will struggle against elite bigs like Cousins/Jokic/KAT but there aren't that many guys out there he couldn't defend.

Good to see Thon ballin :pimp:

Like I've been saying....he's a lot closer than y'all think. People lately have been acting like he's some gimmick YouTube player. He's a real prospect. Happy for dude. Wish him the best in his development.

The tools are there.

Still doesn't make any sense  :smh:

And how many years away now is that dude from Brazil they drafted a couple years ago ?

Even Deyonta Davis woulda been a better pick at the same position.

I think it's only 2 now for Bruno.

If the nets have sense, they would try to finesse Toronto for Bruno. Right now, they are the perfect landing spot for young talent to grow and harness their game. Unfortunately, their roster is depleted and lacks young promising talent.

Ehh, they coulda signed Aldrich who's a much better option because he can actually defend.

He's just a less good version of Jonas and Valentine was BPA.

1. Jonas is really good at basketball so I will take a less good version of him as a cost controlled backup center.

2. Denzel Valentine? the late blooming senior tweener with suspect athlticsm, and bad hips?

Okay we can just agree to disagree.

Potel is boring but the right pick given the circumstances.

It's the knee that is suspect and late bloomer or not he projects as a way better player than Poeltl.

I don't think there is anybody with a respectable basketball mind who thinks Poeltl has more potential than Valentine, he wasn't the best pick available.

Good luck with two 5's who can't protect the rim, that's been working out a lot in this league.
