The NBA Draft Thread

He has "it".

Yup. All that needs to be said. Dennis jumps out the screen at you.

I remember watching Dame Lillard and saying, he has "IT".

Dame had one of the best guard workouts I've ever seen :x. Brb....going to try to find it.

I need Dennis to tighten his handle and it'll be a wrap

At times he seems a lil stiff but maybe I'm being critical

So is it safe to say that top three prospects as of today are Fultz, Smith and Ball? Then we fall to a tier on the talent level.

It just hit me...if Boston does get a top 3 pick...this will be the second time the Nets traded a potential franchise player for scraps.

1st round pick (Dame) for Crash
Now Fultz/ Smith/ Ball for KG and Pierce's corpse

Nets man...:smh:

Lou Williams is having one of the best seasons of his career, Nick Young is having his best year in probably 3-4 seasons and you paid Deng and Mozgov a lot of money because they are good, solid vets. It seriously makes no sense for them to be THIS bad again.

Lakers only have 7 wins against teams currently over .500 (one of those being Christmas Day when the Clips didn't have Blake or CP3). They're 4-8 this month, but 2 wins are against Miami and Orlando. They've split so far with every other bad team in the league. Furthermore even in that 10-10 start they lost to DAL, and were blown out by NO and Minny, the signs were there. Some people just chose to ignore them. We're right where we are supposed to be.

Tatum's not top 10 for me.  Only 3 non guards in the top 10 for me are Markkannen, Jackson and maybe Isaac

I'm not sold on Tatum either. Hist style of play, his shot selection and his attitude are all problematic. I am not a fan.

Isaac is slowly proving people wrong with his consistent play, hustle, and playing within the flow of the offense, but I am not 100% on him yet.

Yeah...same here. I kept hearing about it but never saw it. I'm intrigued.

I would say it's Fultz, Ball and then after that it's just preference.

Yeah, I guess you can say that Fultz and Ball are in their own tier. You can put it this way:

Fultz, Ball

Smith

Jackson, Isaac, Fox, Monk, Markkanen

You tripping Bruh

Dude is a NBA half-court scorer...his game isn't suited for college system.

So he can't score efficiently against college smaller, slower college defenders and it's supposed to get better in the NBA?

Why? How?

This. Kid's midrange game is too sick.

I mean, he is very good and getting those looks off, but they don't go in at an outrageous rate.

TJ Warrens midrange game in college was sick, Jayson Tatum's is good

TJ warren transitioned very nicely into the NBA :smokin

I dont see that star power in Tatum at all. He'll be a solid rotation player imo.

Let's be real here...the court is so much smaller in college with 1 or 2 people always standing in the lane waiting. Also let's take into account he's a freshmen, Brandon stunk it up the first 10 games. It's a year round adjustment honestly. Kid can get any shot off he want and is a monster in the triple threat. If he comes to Charlotte he would be averaging 15 easy by his 2nd year.

Yeah..Tatum was slightly overrated as a prospect coming in (he was never top 3-5 to me)....but y'all are OD'ing on being so low on him. ***** called him Shabazz Muhammad :smh:

Kid has half court NBA talent suited for the NBA game. Add in length and decent athleticism and an NBA frame with versatile ball skills....he could be a problem.

The Spacing and Zones in college doesn't fully let him show his game.
