The NBA Draft Thread

I'm not as high on bridges. I like his athleticism and he could be a decent 3 point shooter.

I have no idea how he plays the 4 at 6-6. I don't like how he's a two foot leaper. And he's super OC.

Short reach is definitely a concern but I think he has the strength, skill and athleticism to excel in the league.

For a late lottery prospect, think he is about as good as it gets.

You can't really ask for a much better prospect than Bridges in the 10-15 range...

Finally got to see this game. Fox looks good, but he seems to be out of control a lot. Nothing that a bit of experience can't fix. I do see Elfred Payton as his floor.

How can you say Elfrid Payton as if Payton has even fully established his potential. Dude finally just catching wind this year.

What type of question is that? I am comparing him to Payton right now, not what he could be.

Payton is athletic, has a good motor, a good passer and is an effective starter who is limited by his shot making ability. That's what I see as Fox's floor.

if the sixers are really going to let ben simmons be the primary ballhandler, monk is a perfect fit in philly.

They going to need 40% 3pt shooting in a real way.

I think the only way you get #1 overall level production from Simmons is him running point.

A Closer Look at the Two Potentially Transcendent Shooters of 2017

Monk has the potential to have it all at the offensive end. The more I see him/ read about him, the more I like him with the Sixers. The best part is that he will fit in regardless of Simmon's position. I can't say that with any other prospect.

NBA MOCK DRAFT 2017: END OF JANUARY UPDATE

2017 DraftExpress NBA Mock Draft

They both have the Sixers choosing Isaac at 6 with Jackson jumping to 3. I don't mind choosing Isaac if (big if) Simmons will play PG. If not, the fit makes no sense.

Now if the Lakers can actually start winning games, we can easily end up with both Monk and Isaac. 8)

It will be a question of best fit vs best available talent.

Unless they get number 1 I don't see why they wouldn't take Jackson regardless, I don't think Ball is that much better and Bledsoe is already damn good.

The only reason they choose a PG is if Jackson is taken. As for Tatum over Ball, that's where Talent > Fit and I would choose Ball and maybe trade down.

I'd probably go Isaac or Josh Jackson if I were the Suns. They seem like they're set with their backcourt.
