Sir Michael Rocks' latest project, titled Populair, is set to release September 11. Populair is the latest album from the former Cool Kids member following his debut solo album, BancoBanco released July 29 of last year and reached a peak position of 13th aboard the US Top Rap Albums (Billboard) chart. With this project, Sir Mike looks to further establish his foothold as a solo artist. It will be interesting to see which direction he takes after his mixtapes possessed a similar sound, only for him to come with an entirely new sound on Banco. Sir Michael Rocks has already released two singles from the album, "Perfect" and "Pull Up," and it is rumored that additional tracks will be added before release date. Populair  is available for pre-order on Amazon and on iTunes, where "Perfect" can already be purchased.

man dude was one of my favorite artist from 2011-2013...I hope he goes back to premier politics style

Huge fan of the Cool Kids.

His Lap of Lux and Premier Politics mixtapes had some bangers on there. I still haven't listened to his Banco album since he kept us waiting so long, I just became uninterested.

Will be checking out this new project and his previous

Dude is so underrated. One of my favorite artist and I don't know anybody else that checks for him.

His flow, bravado and originality

About to give Populair a listen.

This joint too experimental for me and I love all his projects.
Besides Come Outside and Perfect all the beats and flows feel too left-field

And do "The Cool Kids" still rock?
Mike said that they're no longer going to make music as The Cool Kids, but they still do work on music together. Chuck was featured on Mike's debut album Banco  and Mike was featured on Chuck's debut album Convertibles. They also released a single called Super Squad off Chuck's next album, Everybody's Big Brother,  over the summer.

Yea he did change up a lil on Premier but I def wanted him to put out sequels to Premier and Lap of Lux.

Hope the Spitta x Banco project done and sitting in the vault

Sir Michael Rocks has been dropping more music videos for tracks off Populair. They definitely add to the songs, watching the music videos makes for a better experience than simply listening to the audio. My favorite is the one for "Alone," which came out last week.

Can't hide it is still bumped in the whip. Crazy how that song ain't hit radio. His sound changed since the rocks report but every project he dropped I've messed with at least 2 songs.

Mikey was that dude during premier politics days

I wish he would have made cardo his main producer and made more music with the Jets group

If he was a new artist, Lap of Lux would def be his breakout project
