The thing is, only adults (and mature young people) take chants/lyrics like that seriously and actually digest the meaning. The younger crowd just looks at it as jovial, rowdy behavior, exhibited by the campus 'bad boys', and there's a large population of women that live bad boys, so these dudes will likely flourish with the yambs.
I've heard some very raunchy chants in my day. None referenced rape tho.

Tell me why some dude was yelling that last saturday on campus. Me and my boys just looked at dude like wtf. some frat guys are seriously the lamest guys on campus. A lot don't even stand for true brotherhood.

I don't think anyone in here is "outraged." Rusty, I'm assuming, like myself, is just pointing out that these douches have to be completely tone deaf to put up these signs.

Now tell me, if you are a cop that's investigating a sexual assault where the rapist's face was obscured or the woman was drugged, wouldn't this be the first place you'd look?
Also, and I don't think this has been brought up, but wouldn't these signs terrify someone who is a victim of sexual assault? Imagine being dropped off for the first day of school and seeing signs that imply rape? Knowing how little the punishment for rape is (never mind that it's often not even prosecuted), combined with signs that seem to glorify rape, I can definitely see how a freshman girl could be afraid for her safety.

. Really with all the heat on college campuses about campus date rape...Do you watch the news? Cops here where have said they have zero tolerance...I live close to two D1 colleges...Nothing about those signs are "arrest" worthy
