- When the DJ plays Gin 'n' Juice in the club. If they are a good DJ, they save the song for near the end of the night and they draw out the intro. They get the crowd excited, they give you a time to power down your drink and get ready to dance

- Winter wine tastings. It is 30 to 45 degrees, the sky is navy blue and the robust red wines are just right.

- Looking down on the city in a high rise apartment, the perfect music is playing you're sipping your scotch. It feels like a scene from a movie.

- The drive from the city to the beach house up north. It's the chance to decompress from the stress of the city and get ready to do nothing for the next week or so.

- Wandering around a truly historical, not touristy spot in Europe. No tour groups, not even your friends for a little while. I could spend a life time just wandering the old, medieval quarters of cities in Italy and Germany.

- Particular episodes of Breaking Bad, the whole experience that is The Wire and the first Season of Game of Thrones.

- At the age of 30, after being a book worm for over 20 years and after for than 10 years of college, still coming across someone smarter, more insightful, more articulate and having an established assumption of mine sincerely and truly challenged.
