Kobe has to have the hottest shoe if tinker is involved. Kyrie will be number 2 (no pun intended) unless the kd 9 is flyknit

Wouldn't the KD 9 be compared to the Kyrie 3 because that'll be the shoe KD would wear for the 2016 -2017 NBA season? The Kyrie 2 goes with or should be compared to the Lebron 13, KD 8, and Kobe 11 for the 2015-2016 NBA season.
I personally wouldn't count the Kobe 11 as the winner of the best Nike sig shoe for the 2015-2016 season because not only does the Kyrie 2 look good, his shoe is priced at $125 while the Kobe XI will "start" at $200. I'm definitely excited to see what Tinker will do for the Kobe XI's but I personally like classic Tinker's designs more than his newer ones with shoes like the Jordan XX8 compared to more classic designs like the Jordan XI or the Jordan XII.

I wouldnt look at it that way. Nike has gotten so out of whack with their releases that I dont think it works like this every year. like how kobes and kyries shoes begin to release in the middle of the season

So far Kyrie shoes release in December which is not even two months after the NBA season starts late October
Lebron's drop in October
KD's come out late June early July,
Kobe's drop in January - Feb time frame.
All the shoes are worn for that NBA season some linger over or start later but they're still all for the same Basketball Season. I think Lebron's shoes line up the best season wise because his shoe usually drops around the start of the season and by the time the drop last pair of that version the season restarts. You can click on the Lebron.net link below and see how the time frames line up. Also when you google any of the shoes to that respected season the new model shoe for that year will pop up. I noticed all shoes typically begin to connect around All-Star
