Been with AT&T since 2009 with the iPhone 3GS , have an unlimited data plan (grandfathered) I upgrade every year .. Which service fits me?

I want to get the iPhone 6s , with AT&T next , I'll be paying $0 down .. My contract is up 10/4/2015 .. Should I go with next? Will my monthly plan be lower than $130 .. I'm lost

Is it just you on the account? If you're under one of AT&T's older plans more than likely a two year contract is the better route.

How much data do you use? I can't tell you how many customers I deal with on a daily basis who refuse to lose their unlimited data, but only using around 3 - 5 gigs of data. You could literally be cutting your bill in half by switching over to the new plans which come with Unlimited talk, Unlimited data, and a data package for every line on the account to pull.

It's just me on the account , I have a dummy line I use to keep the upgrades coming so I upgrade every year

I use over 15gb of data , I'm a HEAVY user , I basically use my iPhone like a computer , from email , music , texting , phone , apps , downLoading , steaming , etc

I'm already at 7gigs now , and I have 26 days left on my billing cycle

Stick with the 2 year contract. When you go in store I promise you they are gonna sway you to do Next but you'll be saving money doing the 2 year on your current plan.

We (sales consultants) get penalized for doing 2 year contracts which is pretty stupid considering the company offers it but they are trying to do away with the contracts so more than likely this will be your last time able to do one.

This a no brainer you have unlimited data and use 15+GBs of data. Don't give that up because you don't want to pay the subsidized price for the phone up front.

Switch to Next your bill will be higher and you won't own that phone until you have paid the $600+ phone off.

My friend pays over $100/mo now in data overcharge fees because they got finessed into the Next plan

. You pay $15/GB over your plan limit.

The thing is , I heard I can take my grandfathered plan and put it on next . So I thought to myself .. Having an unlimited data plan on a next plan might be cheaper

They are really trying to finesse you out of your unlimited data and you bout to fall for it. You CANNOT take your unlimited data to a Next plan that is a lie.

Next plans are a scam. STOP, walk away and tell them no. Save some money and buy your own phone if you have to.

The ONLY way next is good is if you don't already have unlimited everything AND if you plan on constantly getting a new phone every year

Exactly there is a reason they are pushing it so hard. Carriers are selling data now, if you have an unlimited data plan they are losing money.

Like others say go to tmobile. I used to be a tmobile hater and even worked for them for a while back in the day, but their service has improved sooooooo much. Tmobile has a test drive program that js free but since the new iphone drops soon i would just get a prepaid to test the coverage.
